Very disappointing experience. I decided to get an acoustic guitar after 30+ years since I last played. I told this to the salesman, and he points to all the guitars and says that all of the guitars they carry are good. When I asked about the difference between the Yamaha FG 800 series. He said that they all sound the same but come in different colours. ??? The salesman didn’t seem to be interested in take me seriously.

I've been dealing with the Markham location for 3 decades. Recently moved east to Hampton. Rented some equipment for a pool party. Had one sub that was underperforming, but useable. When I returned the equipment, all I heard was apologies and they gave me a malfunction discount! Excellent quick and efficient service. Glad I found another great customer focused location close by!

Always my go to shop for any musical needs. Super friendly and helpful staff who fixed my acoustic's nut with ease and said it was free. L&M is always my first solution when I think of music repairs and gear.

The clinic was good. I did expect it to be a bit longer though, but I guess that depends on the artists, the venue, Long and Mcquade, etc. I do hope in the future that Long and Mcquade does bring in more clinics. I know, that can be a challenge, but I recall seeing Teddy Campbell a few years back and it changed my life. So please do have more. Thanks

Long & McQuade as a whole company is great but I find the Oshawa Ontario location one of the best. Cheryl Ireland in particular provides the best client focused service I have ever encountered in any store. Her team as well is top notch. Cheryl has my business for life and that's why Long @ McQuade is so successful - great team and customer service. Thanks !

When I went in to pick up my Epiphone Korina Explorer, Emerson from the Long & McQuade Oshawa team went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with the guitar before leaving the store. He tweaked and adjusted the guitar until it felt and played perfectly; I would highly recommend this store!

I just wanted to write a review to let everyone know how amazing these guys are. My husband bought me a mic and interface a few days ago and I had some trouble setting it up on my computer. I called the store and a couple of guys tried to help me over the phone as best as they could. They were very kind and patient. I ended up having to take my laptop with the interface to the store because it could have been a number of issues (in the end it was a computer issue). Brian, who sold us the mic, is such a knowledgeable and wonderful person! He took about two hours explaining step by step and giving me advice on how to use it properly. He set it up for me and answered all my questions, he was so patient! The service was so great and I really felt heard. He went above and beyond. These guys deserve to be applauded for their wonderful customer service, not just anyone would take so much time to make sure you are are happy with your purchase. The other guys in the store were great, too. It’s nice to chat with them about music. I will always come back here for my instrumental needs :).

Horrible service by Bill Gelaspie and the oshawa location. I ordered something a year ago. Months after I received a call saying it had arrived. Upon arrival to their location. They say they sold it to someone else. So they ordered it again and never called me for months and now when I call they said we sent the item back because I did pick up my call but Bill called the wrong number. My number in my file is the same as I go to rent. Not only they sent it back. They took my deposit and said we used it for stocking purposes and said how it will be hard to get my deposit back. This is such a bad service and horrible location. Very disappointed. Do better.
