Food was really delicious! Also, servers were very kind so it was a great time to have breakfast.

The food was excellent though a bit pricy for brunch. Service was friendly but absent. My partner and I had to stand by the counter to signal paying for our bill. I emailed the manager privately after of our experience and she sounded positive explaining about staff trainings on attending to guests. Overall great place.

I visited Eggspectations this morning and I have to say, the food was amazing and the menu offered a lot of options. However, the service I received was average at best. The server, Karina, tried to intimidate me into tipping her. As someone who also works in the service industry, I understand the importance of tips but I don't expect a tip just for doing my job. I always try to offer excellent service to earn tips.When it came time to pay, Karina asked me in an attitude-filled tone if her service was good. I explained that it was average and she continued to try to intimidate me into tipping her for simply doing her job. I explained that her service was just average, there was barely anyone in the restaurant at the time, and she had no excuse for not providing excellent service. Tips are normally offered for excellent service, not just for doing the bare minimum.Her attitude really upset me and I'm wondering if this is the restaurant's culture. Are servers entitled to a tip for just doing the bare minimum and why are they allowed to intimidate customers into tipping? I was nice enough to convince my friends to tip her because I felt bad, but in no way should customers be pressured into tipping for minimum effort. If that's the restaurant's policy, the gratuities should be added to the bill beforehand. I'm disappointed in the service I received and will not be returning here anytime soon !

We visited on March 19, 2023 and were treated very well. We got a great table by the window which was not too small, not too large. The restaurant was busy, but it didn't feel like things were falling on top of you, like other restaurants such as Smith". Richard took amazing care of us and didn't miss any details at all. My fiance and I are staying at the Holiday Inn across the street from this location, and have come here twice so far. Both times, the food has been exceptional and extremely delicious. As someone who has been to only a handful of breakfast places, this restaurant is by far my favourite.The first visit here, I ordered the Chocolate and Banana Crepe, which is a crepe stuffed with sliced banana and lots of Nutella. On top of it was drizzled chocolate sauce and sprinkled powdered sugar for garnish. If you're a Nutella fan, or have a sweet spot for chocolate and banana, I'd *highly* recommend this for you. My fiance ordered the Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate pancakes. Which personally, I thought were going to be sickenly sweet, but surprisingly they weren't. The pancakes are their signature fluffy pancakes, with Reese's mini cups sprinkled on top with some powdered sugar. These actually come with some chocolate sauce drizzled on top as well, which the waitress this visit noticed and brought some chocolate sauce over for him. The waitress Joce was super friendly and kind to us as my fiance and I hung out for a few hours working remotely on our laptops. She was incredibly sweet and accommodating.Our second visit, I ended up ordering the same as last time (Chocolate Banana Crepe) because it was just SO good the last time I had it. Just saying, it was JUST as good as last time. HIGHLY recommended. My fiance ordered something different this time, ordering the Chocolate Chips and Blueberry Pancakes (he loves blueberries). He absolutely loved this and devoured all three pancakes, although I managed to inhale mine before him, LOL. The Chocolate Chips and Blueberry Pancakes had chocolate chips inside the pancakes, and had fresh blueberries on top, garnished with powdered sugar sprinkled on top. Our waitress Karina was super sweet and kind as well.For drinks, my fiance has ordered the Caffe Mochaccino which looked cute with a heart designed in the foam. I ordered an iced Americano (no milk or sugar) which was delicious and hit the right spot. The second time we visited, I got the same drink, along with their orange juice, which I saw from other reviews is freshly pressed. The OJ was very refreshing and perfectly sweet, with minimal pulp (I don't mind pulp but if you're not a fan of pulp, this might be an option for you). My fiance ordered the cappuccino and enjoyed that with a cute heart design in the foam along with a line of cinnamon.Overall, this location, the vibe is super chill, it's great to work in, as there are a lot of other people working on their laptops, so don't be shy to work from here! It's a super comfy vibe, but you can get a bit chilly depending where you're seated and how long you stay, haha. Good food, great vibes, and great service. 10/10, do not sleep on this place, the experience is wonderful!Also, I'd recommend coming closer to the opening time if you want to miss the morning rush at 11-11:30am.

First time here and I was amazed! I absolutely hate poutine but the breakfast twist to an ordinary poutine was amazing.Yes, the gravy they use is quite salty but the flavour is great!I’d say it’s a bit pricey for simple stuff like a bagel but they make it look extremely gorgeous that the presentation and flavour at least makes up for the extra dollars that I won’t be mad aboutWill definitely be back to try something different

Worth a try! It’s a classic breakfast spot with everything you need. The service was great and the food was decent. Highly recommend the smoked salmon Benny!
