Maciek Batorski Therapist/Counsellor

I have know/been seeing Maciek for several years now. He has met his calling for sure. He's so easy to talk to and offers insightful and useful feedback. He also remembers all of the little things that we talk about so I never have to re-explain things during our sessions. It's like talking to an old friend when I go for my sessions. I am so glad I found him!

Maciek is nothing short of brilliant. He is one of the most experienced counsellors you will ever meet. Nothing seems to shock him, and he handles even the most awkward discussions with style, humour and grace. It is truly a remarkable and heart-warming experience to watch him unravel the most complicated personal crisis with the most simple and pointed questions. Maciek Batorski: A brilliant and compassionate man, who could not have pursued a more suitable profession.There are some medical professionals in this world who, in spite of their professions, are far from nurturing. They go about their business with dispassionate devotion, memorizing facts and figures but failing to bring any sort of compassion or humanity into their sessions. But to the opposite end, there are those who truly love what they do, and seize every opportunity to hone and expand upon their craft. Maciek Batorski is such a man. I chose to pay him a visit 2 years ago when my depression was at an all-time low. I was suicidal, self-destructive, and eager to drown in my own darkness. I was nearing the end of a chain of thoroughly unpleasant experiences with various doctors both biological and psychological, and had all but convinced myself that I was truly alone in my struggle for balance, and personal understanding. Reading through his website, Maciek's approach to therapy was what truly caught my eye. His understanding of the value of the relationships we build with one another as a species, and the profound impact they have on our own lives and minds was inspiring. I found his work experience to be so impressive that for the first time in as long as I could remember, I began to feel a sense of hope. I immediately sent him an e-mail, which he replied to the very same day, and within a week I was in his office for my free consultation.That was two years ago. And when I look back upon the listless young man sitting in his comfortable armchair surrounded by degrees and classic literature while soft jazz permeated the air, I can't help but wonder what might have become of me had it not been for his eagerness to challenge and engage me in ways I had never thought possible.
