Humber River Hospital – Fracture Clinic

The wait time and system in this clinic is terrible. Patient time and it’s value means nothing to them. Thank God I am visiting once a year here not often and believe me each time I have an appointment here that complete day is waist and my mood is off too. It’s very disorganize and unprofessional clinic.

This would the first time I give a hospital and one its units a 5 star review (pre- or post-pandemic).I just returned from my 2-week post-op review for an Achilles tendon rupture. Dr. Sagar Desai is the ortho who performed the surgery using the Achilles midsubstance speedbridge repair method.Dr. Desai and his team are world class to say the least. Patient experience is perfect with a team that clearly cares about their patients, are patient with them, are very methodical with everything they did from diagnosis, to pre-op prep, and post-op follow ups. Dr. Sagar himself is a brilliant surgeon and a master of his craft. Having just removed the cast and seeing my foot and the surgery site having almost no swelling is a testament to his skill and post-op recommendations. If there was an option to provide bonus ratings stars, I would give 10/5. There is no doubt in my mind that I will make a full recovery with return to full strength and sport.The culture at the Humber River Hosptial is outstanding and should serve as a model for other hospitals the GTA and surrounding area. Additionally, the hygiene of the hospital was also impeccable during my three visits.Incredible and totally unexpected with the recent decline in Canadian healthcare and hospitals. The Humber River Hospital stands head and shoulders above with its internal quality standards and execution.Well done! BRAVO!

I've been visiting this place now for over 2 years regarding a fracture that occurred in my shoulder. It's quite a busy place so if you do book it to see a doctor I would suggest Wednesdays. That date is usually quite slow. Fracture Center has some of the best surgeons in the city and of course Humber is one of the most advanced digital hospitals in the world. So I would recommend it highly

I must say I was amazed and the professionalism and friendly attitude of the staff at Humber River Hospital Fracture clinic. The registration process was quick and flawless, the staff very nice. Dr. Townley was polite, very professional and made great recomendations. Jill the nurse was exceptional and Dr. Yenney (sic) was nice as well. You never want to be in a Fracture clinic, but if you have to, hands down this is the place to be. Also, the appointment was right on time. Please Management let the staff know, their kindness and professionalism is appreciated.

I haven't had to wait very long for my appointments at this clinic. They seem very organized. My orthopedic doctor has been very nice and when he couldn't figure out what was the problem he referred me to a subspecialist and got me an appointment within a week. Pretty happy with this place. I've been to another hospital fracture clinic for my son and it was a nightmare. This place is good.

They really need to be better at time management. They will waste your time waiting. Even if you have an appointment time.

My own 3 experiences, now, going there have all gone very smoothly. Everyone (employee wise) was super nice & friendly. Doctor I was was very professional yet made you feel very comfortable & explained everything. I had a double clean brake in my ankle and after a cast & boot it hasn't healed properly so I'm going for the bone grafting and plates and screws put in. Fun stuff.

Those this clinic have orthopedic surgeon not pystrist and for the cervical spine surgery ?what usal waiting to see a doctor In this clinic?

I don't like the name humber river hospital remind me of my 3 relatives pass away of this hospital.
