HSBC Bank

Have been visiting the HSBC Quarry Edge branch for over a year, first for a Chequing Account and then our Home mortgage. We have been dealing with Yousaf Ali for all our requirements. He has been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout, specially for the Home mortgage. It has been a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend their services. Many thanks to Yousaf once again!

We went to HSBC Quarry Edge branch to open a new HSBC account and also for our mortgage (as first time home buyers). We dealt with Yousaf Ali and my experience through out the process was seamless. He was very professional and to the point at all times. We got our mortgage application processed in a timely manner and in our best interest with the help of Yousaf. I would recommend this branch/advisor for these kind of services.

Poorest service at the counter. Had to wait for almost 30 mins to get help at cashier . Not enough support and other people just walk at the back of the counter not acknowledging if we need any help . Does the bank not charging enough monthly fees to afford the staff in this branch or no one cares about customers .

I was attracted to the Mortgage rate 2.49%. Met Yousaf Ali Premier Relationship Manager, had the best experience ever! He was on the point and my Mortgage was approved in 2 days. Meanwhile Yousaf advised me of the Wealth offer i was very impressed with the Transfer in bonus. Thats an enormous amount of knowledge from anyone iveever experienced and benefited me equally!!!Usually i don't put a review but i had best Customer service with HSBC. Highly recommend this branch and Yousaf.

Tauseef Sheikh is horrible, gave my papers of a loan via my father and he never got back to me. My father bought 2 houses through this bank and I wanted to refinance my house and get another myself. This creates more business for this bank and gentleman and he totally messed it up. I got approved my td bank for a loan. Moral of the story, someone gives you business, practice some good business sense. Tauseef Sheikh should not be employed by this bank, this is another horrible review left for him.

Contacted HSBC bank and was assigned Tauseef Sheikh ([email protected]) to help me with my mortgage. I gave him all the documents he asked and even met him in person at the branch for signatures even in the COVID situation. He promised to get back to me within a week with a number on interest rate. Weeks passed by and he kept delaying it and finally he stopped replying to my emails. I am lucky that I was working with Scotia Bank in parallel and got my mortgage done. I would rate him the most un-professional person I have ever met. I know sometimes processing of a case can delay but that is where professional behavior and correct guidance to the client should kick in. On a funnier side, even though he had all my documents but he kept calling me to get that info again (verbally, no problem with the typos) and this tells the not knowing your job" side of it too. Good luck HSBC bank with employees like this."

The worst customer service I have ever had from a bank. I do not recommend using HSBC. Whether you are in person at the branch or over the phone with a representative they will take over 2 hours to assist with simple tasks. Their system is often down and call wait times are lengthy.

Terrible bank. Staff lacks training. Went there to open a master card application for my wife but failed to get one even after 5 months. We were told my wife has issues with credit history even though she is new to Canada. Equifax and Transunion confirmed her file is clear.Person at the front desk is so arrogant.This is the very first branch I have seen doing credit application at the front desk. Made us stand for more than 2 hours.It's very unfortunate I chose HSBC bank.A humble suggestion to HSBC headoffice that if they want to do business in NA please train your staff and held them accountable for their behavior towards customers.

This branch now has a young man working at the counter. We are all young once. Learning is okay. But, a young person being arrogant and bossy to customers, is not ok and shows very poor working behaviour. The branch should take this review seriously and act to correct.

bad service, I asked some question and they said call to customer care for your all quarries. I opened the account yesterday and card is not active till now and I am wasting my time by calling customer care.
