Carleton Golf & Yacht Club

I was a member for the 2022 season and was happy with the course and the staff, but disappointed with the decrease in availability of amenities throughout the season. After paying my annual dues in full, amenities that were selling points were taken away. The food WAS good when I signed up. Within a couple of rounds the chef was changed and all of the sudden the sandwiches were gas station quality and you couldn't even get a hotdog on Sundays. The kitchen was closed period end of story. After a few weeks of Sunday rounds without a kitchen I enquired. The response I got was that because they had booked so many events, and were understaffed, they needed to close on Sundays to give the kitchen staff a day off. So in other words, in order for them to keep making money off of events, it was necessary to neglect the members who had paid for these services.It became increasingly difficult to book rounds as there was a new scramble or tournament almost every week.I honestly felt swindled. I would play the course again as the conditions are great, the staff (especially the younger backshop kids) are fantastic.Removing amenities that were already paid for and were selling points still doesn't sit right with me.I hope you reconsider the availability of your members only course for your paid members moving forward.Again; the course is fantastic.

Great private course. Conditions are always great and play is fast

Great club for a round of golf. I particularly enjoyed having lunch on the patio. Spacious with a nice breeze, it was a great spot for a cold beer and a burger.

Carleton Golf and Yacht Club is a fantastic course that is well maintained and always in excellent condition. Incredibly friendly staff and membership, very social environment.

We played in 4 hours with some friends who loved the layout and ease of walking. Beware the small greens !
