Brook - Bar à café et pizza nyc

The cheese slice was pretty decent. Nothing to phone home about though. As far as cheese slices go, I thought it was a bit light on the titular topping. The tomato sauce was nice. Ultimately, the dough was the weakest part. The bottom was extremely blonde and the pizza was kinda doughey. If it were a bit darker, I think it could be an amazing pizza.

My favorite pizza/ coffee in Verdun. The owner and the employees always take great care of me and are really friendly. The pizza is delicious and the espresso is really good too. I’m planning to go in later today for lunch.

Cooked nyc style, however my pizza tip was mushy and all fell apart when I folded ☹ (unlike a true nyc slice).I had a slice of vegan, very tasty and the dough tasted amazingIts a nice location on wellington with inside seating and terrasse.Friendly staff

My cousin and I brought our kids there for lunch, and it was a very warm and welcoming ambiance. Our kids are young and quite the handful, but the owner was very accommodating and friendly. Can't complain about the service! Definitely, their pizza is amazing in its own right. Thin crispy crusts and savory, flavourful toppings make their slices a sure win. Just the rightamountt of tomato sauce too! Some pizza places make their pies too dry, or too saucy. But Brooks' pies have the right balance. If the pizza is not enough of a draw, their homemadeice creamm is bomb as well! It's the perfect combo for a hot summer day!

Big pizzas. Decent. BUT, I wish they had a nicer dough (maybe let it rise longer?). The one time I ordered here, the crust was tough and hard to chew. However the reason I only give this place 3 stars is their inconvenient hours. They close at 8pm every day and they aren't open Mondays or Tuesdays! In the last two months since I first tried this place they've literally been closed every time I tried to go back. Verdun has a lot of amazing restaurants but seriously lacks options early in the week or after 8pm, so if this place was open at least until 9pm and 7 days a week, I'd be a regular, regardless of my above dough critique! (Although, a lighter crispier dough would still be welcome!)EDIT: Okay, finally managed to get back during open hours. Had a slice on the spot, it was good, crust was much lighter and just the right amount of chewy -BUT, sorry Brook, I'm keeping the 3 star review because you still close too early. A pizza place with this caliber pizza needs to be open later than 8!

Huge pizza in huge pizza box ;) Like the dough/sauce and toppings ratio! Enough crunch without any soggyness. A bit too salty though (maybe because of the parm). Still would recommend! Tips: You can choose two different halves, winner move!

The pizza here is absolutely delicious! The dough is soft and crispy, the cheese and pepperoni were tasteful and didn't feel like generic ingredients and the sauce guys! The sauce was the best thing in there, it totally feels homemade with tons of love ❣️❣️ Also, it's HUGE !Basically, we went from wanting pizza night to having a full on pizza experience! Totally my new go to place

Hands down the best NY style pizza in the neighbourhood. It's on the pricey side but you get huge pies and the toppings are quite generous. They're constantly trying out new stuff, so it's worth visiting often. The staff is nice and the place is always clean and comfortable. I recently tried the honey and Italian ham; and feel in love with it. Support local businesses!
