The check-in process was smooth, but the service was not up to par. I observed a delay in cleaning the area after the previous travelers had departed.

A good place to hang out and wait for a flight. The food meh definitely could be improved....I'll wait for the meal on the plane. Alcohol premium brands. Staff working were very polite and helpful.

Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge
I was on a flight with a lot of angry people after our flight was severely delayed out of Toronto, and then rerouted to Halifax. The concierge whose name starts with the letter, D and her assistant, whose name starts with a P were very supportive and helpful while I sat down, had a hot sandwich, and just relaxed.I was advised of a flight back to my destination in approximately 12 hours, and was given accommodations at the local hotel and some meal vouchers. Typically weather related phenomenon does not warrant a hotel or food vouchers, and I know that these were offered to all travelers. So rather than get upset and angry at somebody just doing their job, be thankful that your a airplane landed safely. Trust me. Relaxed and understanding gets better results than hostility.As for the lounge, it was very comfortable and had hot and cold items to satisfy any tummy or anxiety.

Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge
A smaller Maple Leaf Lounge, but nicely appointed, good ambiance, amazingly friendly and efficient staff and a good selection of fresh, tasty food. I loved the lobster sliders!!!!!If the maple leaf lounges, I found this one clean, furniture and decor was well kept. The beverage selection was excellent too,One of the nicer Maple Leaf lines around!

Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge
I spent almost eight hours here after my flight was cancelled 18 times. Overall it was a good place to relax and load up on decent food before heading onto the plane. The self-serve bar definitely helped to numb the pain of waiting.

Fish tank has now been emptied. Heated frozen peas and pasta with bag sauce were offered. Cookies that are hard are way old and should be avoided. Unless you're here to fill up on alcohol, it's probably nicer to eat at even the worst garbage at the airport like tim Hortons. Best description is it's a place to sit" that is less good than the free observation deck. Wifi

The food here is so awful literally the exact same food every time. Sloppy presentation.. alot of it looks like its been sitting out sll day and the lounge is always rammed with people. It doesn't feel exclusive anymore.

Definitely Needs a RenovationTo Preface, I only had access to this lounge through Star Alliance Gold and definitely would not pay for it. The selection of drinks was fine, but the coffee machine was broken and there was no hot food for an early morning flight (6AM). The seating felt quite dated and the whole lounge felt very old and poor. With some new furnishing and a better food selection would definitely visit.

Friendly staff. Beautiful view of the runway...so much green.Lots of plugs for charging up...a nice TV to watch the game.Good selection of food and drinks as per usual with maple leaf lounges.Smaller than the Toronto lounge, but it's nice and modern inside.Plus I talked to Randy from Trailer Park Boys there!

How about a hot breakfast @ 4:15am in the morning? Nothing else is open in the Halifax airport - this seems like a sitting lounge" away from the other empty seats in the airport at this time - paying the prices we do to fly Business Class- this is really a poor offering for an airline lounge in an international airport. I'm thankful for what little was offered
