We took a “small luxury cabin” (cabin 6 white pine). The place was quite cozy, when we first walked in we were greeted with the amazing smell of the logs. Place is small and simple with everything you need, a huge bathroom with toilet sink and a walk-in shower, a small kitchen with 2 gas burners, a microwave, fridge sink and utensils. There was a very cool art piece in a glass case on the wall but it was poorly placed and smacked my head on the corner a few times going under the ladder… should be placed higher up and centred to the wall it is on…. We also went to make a coffee but in the coffee maker was someone’s left over mouldy coffee filter… Gross… we also had an issue trying to checkout as we were offered a cash “damage deposit” and the person working the morning of Jan. 29 has a really poor attitude and gave us a hard time getting our deposit back which ultimately made us feel like not coming back. The check-in crew on Jan. 27 was amazing tho! However had a hard time bringing everything to the cabin as they make you walk it from the parking lot and offered no help for baggage so do not pack heavy or bring a wagon. Overall the place is great looks great snow covered and at night it’s lit up only a few minor issues that needed working out. 4/5 would recommend experiencing their cabins

I attended their Christmas bazaar which was very well organized. Each cabin held one or two vendors, so not only escape from a dreary day. I got a peak inside the cabins as I was doing the circuit and not only where they meticulously clean, but inviting.

Gorgeous healing property. Felt at total peace here. Staff made us feel very welcome with their smiles and laughs, were down to earth, and extremely friendly to talk to. My husband has a disability but was given assistance without being asked which he really appreciated. The tourist centre and park store staff was personable and accommodating and had great local products. My heart dropped though to hear that the longhouse has burnt down. The Sassafras cabin was spacious, clean, and we'll equipped. Beds were cozy. I loved hearing the cricket's and frogs sing at night. The outdoor sitting area is large and cabins are well spaced apart. Loved the free library there too!The Park was quiet and the surrounding land was so peaceful. Great local farmers stands with awesome fresh produce too.Village Pizza in Oshweken was very good! The special offer price deal I seen online was so worth it. Can't wait to return in October to see those colours. Thank you for sharing your land❤️

Was there as my mom's right hand sales person and for my best friend at a yearly craft event. Photos on other phone will try to get some.

We were there for a Christmas craft event. They used their glamping and vacation cabins for each vendor. The show was great but it was great to be able to see into the facilities! They range from basic glamping cabins to beautiful fully furnished loft 2 BR units. Check them out for a summer vacation.

My son and his family came down from Sudbury to Visit us and they rented the small luxury cabin and they enjoyed their stay. Cozy and very well kept place.

A cottage/campground right on the Grand River in the reserve with rustic cedar cabins and plenty of amenities and outdoor activities including archery and kayaking. When we arrived we were surprised with a massive box of food and snacks. It was an excellent weekend away and I hope to visit again soon.

During renovations they had the woman's restroom as main bathroom for both semesters while renovations were under way. Which was fine. We went there one day to go shower and caught a man going through my daughter's bag. I went in and confronted the man. Words were passed back and forth between myself and man, my husband went to office to let them know the situation. While words were being said the man was standing with his curtain open naked and looked high as a kite. Long story short we got banned from the park for this. I'm sorry but you had a man creeping around in the showers looking through a young girl's bag! Honestly he's lucky we handled the situation we did and not throw hands at this man. Being banned from the park for doing what was right seems a little bias, considering manager knee the man personally. Of course we got the boot and he didn't. Lovely place, used to go everyday and drink our morning coffee and play chess. Staff needs to go, most are young kids and the manager is never on site and when she is you never see her. In my opinion the need to get rid of everyone and get new staff. Ones that are going to do their job without bias.

I've camped here before, but on this visit, we used the boat launch for a day on the river... absolutely beautiful. They had lots to do on this day as well, lots of vendors with beautiful work. The campground provides tons of shade. There's lots for kids to do with a splash pad and playground.
