I started learning violin with Victoria three years ago, and have made progress I never thought possible. Victoria always challenges her students, and encourages them to work near or at their limit. She has a knack for identifying your abilities and how far you are willing to push yourself.After two years of beginning with Victoria, I was able to do grade 6 violin practical exam at RMC and receiveda very good grade. I am extremely nervous whenever playing in front of anyone, and the fact that I was able to pull this off just shows the quality of Victoria's teaching and the skills she helped me develop.Being an adult student, I am able to appreciate all the hard work Victoria puts into each lesson. If you (or your child) are a novice violin player, you can be certain that Victoria will help you build a solid base - ensuring correct left and right hand techniques are developed early on - making progress on higher levels easier. Violin is the hardest instrument out there, and it needs a lot of hard work. But it is paramount that you know exactly what it is you are working on while practicing, and Victoria's attention to detail and expertise is indispensable there. I never feel like I'm beating my head against the wall during my pracitce, because I am always clear on what it is I am doing wrong and have to correct, or how achieve the new technique I'm learning.Victoria's background is beyond impressive, and in my opinion you'll be hard pressed to find a more qualified teacher in GTA. Given her very reasonable fee, you will be getting more than your money's worth, whether you are an adult student wanting to pick up violin or take your playing to a higher level, or you have children who want to play the instrument.In person, Victoria is very friendly, helpful, and if you are a parent is more than willing to help you participate in your child's progress.I think I'm very lucky to have her as my teacher, and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone interested in learning violin.

Victoria is a very professional violin teacher. She is also patient to her students. My two kids are learning violin with her for years and they got improved so much and passed many RCM exams. Thanks a lot to Victoria.
