I took my 9 year old for a cleaning and an overall exam. They were extremely friendly and made her feel so comfortable which was great because she was super nervous about going. They were very efficient with their time. The staff was all smiles and answered all questions. I even made an appointment for myself.

Dr Eli Shem-Tov and his team are excellent. I would highly recommend this dental office. Highly professional, friendly and very accommodating. Overall I had a great experience and everyone made me feel very comfortable from the start.

Hygienist and Dentist are very cordial and knowledgeable. Procedures are done with little or no pain. I appreciate their professionalism.

Beware of this dental clinic!! I used to be a patient of Dr. Shem Tov many years ago, and decided to come back based on my great experience with him. HE IS NO LONGER THERE and the new staff only care to charge as much as they possible can to your insurance, especially if they know you have two insurances. Their hygienist Neda charged me for 5 units scaling for a cleaning visit. She did two cleaning appointments within a week because she did not allocate enough time during the first scheduled cleaning to also do the x-rays. She charged 2 units of scaling for cleaning 2 quadrants (sections of the mouth) and then charged 3 units of scaling a week later to complete the cleaning of the other 2 quadrants for a total of 5 units of scaling to complete one cleaning. They did not know that I used to work at a dental office so I know exactly what should be charged for a typical cleaning visit, and what is customary and ETHICAL is charging 2 units of scaling up to a maximum of 3 units of scaling. Even someone with heavy tarter would not be charged 5 units, and I was nowhere close to this. The new office manger could give no explanation and doubled down to justify the charges even when I explained that the insurance will not cover this because it is a lie. I was in the chair at 2:10 and at the reception desk by 2:50, so less than the 45 mins she charged me for. She knew very well what she was doing because this is common practice at this office and the goal is to line their pockets, not customer service. They will write a counter review to try to explain themselves but keep in mind most good reviews they get are from the patients they tell to write a review, the bad reviews are what is most accurate.

Great clinic. Very professional, competent and friendly staff. Always on time. Always explain recommendations. They are great at reminding you of appointments and letting you know when a recall is recommended. My family is very happy with this clinic for our dental care,

I have been going to North York Dental for 6 or 7 years now. The people are exceptional in making you feel welcome. Dr. Shem-Tov along with the help of Izzy have taken me from a state of terror to relaxed and comfortable. Izzy is the greatest, which was the first thing to intrigue me in trying North York Dental. I have had many very scary experiences at the hands of other dentists and everyone at North York Dental has been so kind and patient with me. Now I get my dental work done fear free. Dr. Shem-Tov is a great dentist with all the latest bells and whistles to make your experience as painless and stress free as possible. The staff is nothing but amazing and I am so grateful I have found this needle in the haystack.

During my appointment, she took the time to thoroughly examine my teeth and explain her recommendations clearly and understandably.What impressed me most was the level of care and attention to detail that Dr. Harakati showed throughout my visit. she was patient, gentle, and took great care to ensure that I was comfortable and informed every step of the way. The clinic itself was immaculate, and I appreciated the extra measures they took to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

I've been to several dentists over the years as I've moved around but I'm so grateful I found North York Dental! I've had nothing but positive experiences here. As much as I still hate going to the dentist, I really don't mind going here! Gayathri was very kind in taking the time to explain my health benefits for me in detail and is just wonderful overall.Dr. Harakati and Sharon are both incredibly skilled and empathetic professionals. Neda is a wonderful dental hygienist who is very precise and careful throughout.Thank you!

Everything was good, the services were performed very well, just an advice if you are going through your insurance, do a pre determination and ask whats covered and how much and accordingly take action, I learned that !!-2 stars for not explaining how units work with insurance as a newcomer its better to get an understanding vs being charged in the end
