Usually I don't take the time to leave Google reviews, but this Midas location on Bank St. really proved to me yesterday that they deserve all these great reviews. I was out of town, first time there and although they were very busy, they not only fixed my problem, but Alex went the extra mile identifying and solving an issue that was a safety concern I was not aware of. I felt like these guys are honest, transparent, and genuinely care about their customers, not about adding more to the bill. This shows integrity, shows that they take pride in the work they do, it shows they care about their job!! Hard to find people like this now days, mostly when you take your car for repairs. My many thanks to Alex who worked on my car and to the whole crew. YOU are the ones that make this location stand out.

Amazing people. One stop shop for all my auto needs. Had a pleasure of dealing with Gregg, Paul and my new best friend Ernie, who worked on my car. Honestly, ever since my warranty expired from the manufacturer, I have never been able to find such amazing service, technical knowledge and down to earth, authentic honest attitude. I am telling you, just go here for whatever you need, they do it all. And they only tell you what you need, nothing more nothing less, they will also inform other things that you may look at.I personally was grateful to deal with Ernie. What an amazing individual. Gregg on the other hand will take care of whatever you need. He is a seasoned professional and I found him extremely resourceful, with a beautiful down to earth personality.Thank you Midas Bank street for an AMAZING EXPERIENCE. Paul was sarcastic, funny and quick to get my car in and serviced. Seemed like a very friendly place to bring your car and very honest and upfront. Technicians worked quick and even helped Mcguyver my bumper. Would bring my car back here.Ps. My dog Stella was welcomed openly into this place...

I'm a first time car owner and know very little about cars. My first impression was good, I had just come in to change one if my headlight bulb, no problem there very nice staff (cannot deny that) and I felt like I could trust them. I came a second time for a safety check and they announced that I had to change two of the calipers (did not even do a diagnostic and went ahead with changing them) and 2 brake pads, I had gone there as a second opinion but they said that my brakes were under the safety limit they refused that I go anywhere with the car as it could affect their licenses if anything happened to me, I then had to spend 3k with them. Third time (should have learned my lesson by then) came in later for an oil change, he asked me if I knew what kind of oil my car used, I had no idea since this was my first time doing it, he said no worries I will get you some oil and get it started for you. Once at checkout he announces the price which was 90+$ for a fiat 500 2 doors and before I proceed to pay he says we put some fancy European oil" as if that would justify the price. Annoyed because not once did he ask or confirm with me beforehand. My most recent visit was and is my last straw. I am away on vacation and had left my car with a friend. One of my tires had gotten a hole and had a flat and I told her to go there as it is the closest garage to me that I had gone to. He refused to let her change only one tire (the one that has the flat)

Excellent care and service provided by Greg, Alex and team. Awesome mechanics explain what is needed, provide timely repairs and are extremely customer friendly. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

My car suddenly lost acceleration and my usual mechanic is located in Rockland. If getting an appointment is like trying to see your doctor, I was going to have to wait weeks to get in! I googled a mechanic nearby and Midas had some good reviews. They were able to fit me in that afternoon! They gave me an estimate for replacement parts but even they weren't happy with it so with my permission, we waited an extra day and they were able to find me a better deal. They did not man-splain" things to me which I appreciated and it doesn't hurt that they're all not bad to look at!Thanks for the professionalism and the quality of service! I will definitely be back!"

Staff are incredibly personable and professional.Have been a customer for a number of years but only for oil changes.Had a sudden brake calamity and waited for them to open because of my past experience with them.They acted quickly and to my amazement, and relief, they provided me with a no charge loaner.Rest assured that I will spread the word about Midas on Bank.Without the loaner I would have spent money on Uber, so now I have made a donation of $50 to the Ottawa Food Bank on behalf of Midas.Thanks for your service.

Last minute oil change booked while I was on vacation was completed on time at the quoted price. Staff were courteous and professional giving customers options for short term vs long term repairs.

Excellent service! Midas helped us quickly and efficiently for an emergency repair during our visit to Ottawa on a busy Saturday at the garage. We have just discovered a garage of trust. Very professional and friendly owner and mechanic.

The staff at the shop are very friendly, professional and accommodating. The shop manager, Alex, takes time to listen to customers and address their concerns. He works together with the staff to figure out the issue and the most economical and best possible solutions. I have taken my car here for several different repairs and have always been satisfied with their service and thoroughness. All of my questions about my car repairs were answered with with clear explanations. Most recently, I was very happy to have my air conditioning system repaired at an unexpected low cost. So wonderful with the recent heatwave! The staff at this shop seem to take pride in delivering excellent service to their customers without adding additional and unnecessary costs. It is wonderful to have a reliable place to take my car.
