Oh my god those Jamaican rum cakes were to die for. I was driving through and picked up two and it was a struggle to not eat them both on the drive home. They're a bit pricey at $10 a piece, but they are worth it. I'll be back every time I pass through Mundare.

Nice selection of bread, some lunch options are available as well. Some delicious biscuits and pastries. Was disappointed with Black Russian bread although - I am originally from Russia and this bread has nothing to do with a real black rye loaf.

Had a couple sausage rolls, have to say they were the best Ive ever had. I usually peel away the pastry on a sausage roll since its dry and crumbly, But these were soft and tender rolls and priced reasonablyWas cash only, I'm unsure if thats the usual policy or if debit/credit was down. I defiantly would have bought more if I could swipe my card. The bakery was clean, the staff friendly and there was a tantalising odour of fresh bread coming from the kitchen.

I love small town bakeries, as each one, has a delicious surprise that pop from their oven... And just by chance, I spotted this little gem when out on a country drive from Edmonton.. The sweet surprise here is their mouth watering, from scratch - the ultimate Butter Tart - a genuine, authentic Canadian discovery!! I'm hooked and have just phoned in an a large order...
