Good food, waitress was very good as well. Old school hotel, cultural staple in the community. I am a big bfast fan so gave 3 stars because hash browns where the precut kind, they used to have homemade. Everything else was very good

Hello, July/21 Now that the Covid restrictions are more flexible, I was able to enter the 'oldie' main dining room and was pleasantly surprised at the new changes made by the new chef/restaurant owner. The food was home-style, very fresh and the staff were very pleasant. I also appreciated that the new manager took time to see if my order had been taken and if all was fine. This is an interesting, historical location, well-organized, and re-decorated/clean venue that pays attention to Covid safety guides and customer service with a smile. Thank you so much!

Came for breakfast, my mom goes for coffee often as it’s open early so we thought we’d try breakfast. Food was good. Plenty to share with my two kiddos. Definitely dated but that’s part of it’s charm. Washrooms are upstairs where the hotel rooms were, my daughter thought that was cool. Waitress was very nice and even brought us a jug of water since a few of us ordered water on top of beverages, it was a hot day.

Breakfast was good. Portions were reasonable and looked great! Server was in training and very attentive. All in all, a great place to eat.

Loved the breakfast! The hash browns had a great flavour, the eggs were done perfectly and the regular coffee was so delicious I had to have more than one cup. Service was friendly and helpful. No rushing in and out. Had a wonderful time.

This is one of Gimli's hidden home made food restaurants. The best place for breakfast. The gentleman who runs it is an amazing cook. The watreess are very friendly. If you are looking for that home made comfortable atmosphere stop in here. They do have the best home made soups also... if you are in a rush ? There service is also quick!Stop in... you will be back.
