During the months of June to Dec look for fresh chicken, duck,turkey and rabbit.

Went to Highgate’s this past weekend & I’m so glad to support a great local business. Very friendly staff and meats are so good. I love there smoky sausages the best all meat. There smoked pork chops are phenomenal. So tasty and very delicious, can’t be the price either. A total 5/5 stars all day

Went here for ring Bologna since it is pretty much impossible to find. While here tried some pepperettes and they were delicious. We will be trying the bacon in the morning but after everything else I know it will be great as well.

Picked up five rings of bologna today. People say it is similar to the old Ridgetown bologna. It’s not exact, but pretty darn close. A few yrs ago I asked how they make it. The girl told me the biggest secret was they use German casings. That was the main difference I could see. It is different, a little spicier. But dang,it’s really close and delicious. Get those German casings and you have made an exact copy. Congratulations.

I ask for my chickens to be fresh they freeze them. The next time I have them process my birds I ask for them to be frozen and they leave them in there fridge unfrozen for 3 days. I had to bring them home and rinse the blood and slime off and repackage them and freeze them at home. If they cannot even get that straight. Sincerely disappointed.
