Kintec: Footwear + Orthotics

Mei and all the staff are awesome, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. My orthotics fit perfectly. I could not ask for a better experience.

Absolutely horrific customer service. I bought a pair from their website and asked for it to be shipped to the store for pick up. It took literally 8 days from the day I placed the order until it was shipped to the store. Well, it’s Christmas time so I understand that, its fine. So after calling to confirm that the shoe is in the store for pick up, I came in on December 31st to pick up. After walking into the store, I was ignored by the staff for at least 15 minutes or so. I can see she was helping someone else for consultation, so we waited for a while out of courtesy. But she never said hi or said anything and just kept constantly ignoring our presence. Super rude and unprofessional service I’ve ever seen in any stores. I’ve been going to the broadway store for 3 years+ and it’s my first time pick up in Richmond. I won’t be coming back to this location ever again and I will probably stop buying from Kintec overall.If the pick up customers have to wait for consultations for previous customers to get over, please notify this information on your emails and please make pick up customers make a reservations before coming in. I was never aware that the pick-up customers need to wait whoever in the store to finish their consultations and if I knew it I would be making a reservation for pick up in advance. I’ve never encountered any issues in Broadway store. Thanks for wasting the time.

Unfortunately this was a complete disappointment despite the reviews I read beforehand. Had Mei who ran through my insurance for orthotics, and she was rude when I politely asked in regards to the adjustment of the fitting as the orthotic they made has a very hard sole (versus a comfort fit my wife has). Unfortunately after the first appointment, you are obligated to pay (but I know now I can and should complain to the manager) I should have gone to the other Foot orthotics recommendation but this was closer to me. Orthotics can easily made by any qualified vendor to be honest, but you want someone you can work with and having the right customer service is crucial, so sorry I would not recommend my family or friends to come to the Richmond Kintec.

First time dealing with this company and was very impressed by professionalism, product knowledge and the overall experience. Reynaldo was very helpful and would certainly recommend this location / company .

I was referred to this store by my occupational therapist to purchase supportive shoes. It was my first visit to this store so I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service and expertise from Reynaldo. He spent a lot of time checking to see what I needed in footwear and to make sure I received exactly what I needed. He was so helpful and pleasant and took all the time needed to get everything right. It was a very pleasant experience and I will definitely return again.

Visited the Kintec store in Richmond. Reynaldo assisted us in obtaining shoes for our kids who both play sport. His knowledge, expertise and customer service was top notch. He is a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Reynaldo. We will definitely be visiting this location again to take care of our family's footwear needs.

Got a custom pair of orthotics at Kintec Richmond and super pleased with them! Mei was very thorough with my biomechanical assessment and explained my issues with my previous orthotics, and what could have been causing my discomfort. She is incredibly knowledgeable and very patient with answering my questions. Thanks Mei and team!

Went to kintec Richmond 3x already. Had a great experience each time. All together I purchased a pair of insoles, two pairs of shoes, two pairs of compression stockings and one pair of sandals. Reynaldo helped me on two of my visits- he was excellent to deal with - he is knowledgeable and was able to provide me with a lot of information on the products that I purchased. As well, he is professional, friendly and was patient while I tried everything on. I felt well taken care of the entire time. He goes above and beyond with his work and it shows. Will continue to come here for future needs and will recommend this kintec location to everyone.

Came into Kintec today to pick up some pre operation equipment. Reynaldo helped me familiarize myself with the shoulder sling/cryo machine and explained how to operate/adjust the equipment. Great customer service and very knowledgeable. Thanks for the help!

I highly recommend visiting Kintec and seeing Reynaldo. Getting ready for a few races this year I wanted to get properly fit, rather than buying based solely on my own online research.Booking a 30 min appointment was totally worth it! Rey listened to my unique use case, looked at my current shoes, assessed my gait and made some excellent recommendations. I left with a pair of everyday running shoes and my race shoes. Testing the shoes out at home on the treadmill, I could instantly feel the difference. At my normal pace it felt like I was putting in half the effort with the Hoka Mach 5s and the Carbon X3 are just fast.If you're training for a running event and have never taken the time to be fit, book an appoint with Rey!
