Dr.Hussein Amin / Family Physician

Dr. Amin is a very caring doctor, and due to my family emergency that our family doctor is far away, and we approached Dr Amin, and he is very professional and gives us immediately care. His office people are very warm and very helpful.Thank you, Dr. Amin!

we are with dr Amin for 2 years, unfortunately very often patients. Always enough time for visit and explain every concern, good understanding and listening. No problems with yearly checkups and other referrals. Only one minus - long waiting time.

Knowledgeable doctor with in depth understanding of pharmaceuticals and the surrounding medical industry. Good doctor to go if you want a quick prescription - if you are willing to endure a 20-45 minute wait time for a rushed consultation. Poor understanding of mental health and desire to listen to get a full understanding of a patients issues before writing a prescription or referral. Every meeting with Dr Amin felt rushed. Front desk also was not welcoming or helpful when you came in or needed a recommendation. For example, I was sent to the wrong lab for blood tests so I did not end up getting a result for one of the elements of the blood test.

I just moved to the area and was looking for a new family physician, I came across Dr Amin's office and was hopeful to see him and become a patient. I called and was told to complete a patient intake form, which I did and returned promptly. I was then asked to schedule a meet and greet with Dr Amin and did so. On the day, I arrived at my appointment time but was told to wait to see the doctor - no problem as this is usual. After patiently waiting for 1.5hrs with no update, I had to leave for a family appointment. When I called back to reschedule, the receptionist informed me that I now had to pay $75 to schedule the meet and greet. This is after their office didn't honour the appointment time AND after taking up 1.5hrs of my personal time. Surely this is a scam because this is not how any practice should treat their patients. Sadly, after discussing the situation with the receptionist, and refusing to pay the additional fee for the meet and greet, I was told to go elsewhere!!! After this incident, I would be happy to.
