I can’t say enough about what a great experience I had with Dr. Gainey and his staff. I had to have a gum graft done and it was something I tried to avoid for years and would have nightmares about it and I was really terrified going into it, but Dr. Gainey has such a positive personality that honestly made me feel so at ease about it. After my consultation even though I was still scared I knew that Dr. Gainey would make me feel safe and calm during the procedure. Looking back and reflecting on the experience and how scared I was for much of my adult life over having to get this done and just how easy he made this for me makes me emotional. He is the exact perfect fit for this job as many people are nervous with getting these types of procedures. The staff are excellent as well, any time I have had concerns over my healing I was able to send them pictures via email to show Dr. Gainey so I didn’t have to book an appointment, the staff are so friendly you feel like family when you’re there and they are super accommodating. I have nothing bad to say about the service that I received it was truly excellent.

I was tongue tied and had the surgery when I was younger but was unsuccessful. Dr. Gainey was amazing and I'm very happy with the surgery. I couldn't have had a better Doctor doing it.

Although I have never been to a periodontist before, I have been to many dentists. Dr. David Gainey puts one at ease and does a very thorough assessment of the state of one's gums etc. It almost makes me look forward to my upcoming gum transplant surgery! :-) His staff are all friendly and helpful too.

On my last appointment with my hygienist Donna, I explained about a problem I was having with a back tooth. She asked Dr. Gainey to have a look, and as always he was so calming and helpful. He had x rays taken and then gave me we a thorough assessment and we had a discussion as to what action should be taken. It was then that we discovered that I had been seeing them since 2002 and we had saved that tooth and had improved my dental health so much over the last 13 years.Dr. Gainey did 2 implants for me approximately 5 years ago and did such a wonderful job, I am so happy that I had the implants done and do recommend the procedure to others.Thanks again Dr. Gainey and Donna for your care and concern.

Friendly and helpful staff at this clinic. Dr. Gainey is both professional and personable. I have the highest confidence that he will do the best work for my family and I.

(Posting for my mother, Brenda) I recently had two implants to help support my lower complete denture. The surgery was done with a pre-planned surgical guide. I received my first partial denture at age 16 (almost 50 years ago) and progressed to a full denture over the years. My biggest complaint then was how much everything moved and shifted; especially while eating. My mouth has always been uncomfortable and I feel like I held back on daily tasks because of that. Getting the implants was life changing. My denture is secure and no longer moves around. I can eat without having to worry. I can smile without having to hold back. It feels like I have my old teeth back. I was extremely worried about getting the implants but Dr. Gainey and his team were very reassuring and calm throughout the whole process. I would recommend this center to anyone looking into getting implants! Thank you for giving me back my smile.

I have been in to see Dr Gainey and staff for several years.They all are so knowledgeable and friendly, if the hygienist has any questions Dr. Gainey will come in to see and put us at ease.Although this is not my most favorite place to visit, the staff always make me feel at ease, and am assured of good dental and gum care.Thanks to the front desk receptionist's they are so friendly, helpful and make the paper work go smoothly.

I recently went for a gum graft- something I was very nervous about getting. But Dr Gainey and and his staff (Tammy) we’re very calming and made the whole experience much more bearable with their comedic banter! I can’t speak highly enough of them really; and as much as I hope I don’t have to get anything else done, I know that I would be in good hands at Okanagan Periodontal and Implant Centre
