I need to post a little BUYER BEWARE about renting from Enterprise so that I might save someone the stress we went through - this might be a long post so sit back, lol. I booked us a 7 seat passenger van for our trip out East. I made the reservation in March for our August road trip - perfect...or so I thought. The day before I was due to pick up the van I received an email reminder about our rental to be picked up the next day at 1 PM, awesome...again so I thought. As I prepared to walk out to pick it up (the day before we were leaving at 5 am) the phone rang and it was Enterprise calling. The woman on the other end said she was calling about our rental and unfortunately they did not have a van for us. WHAT?! But then I thought sweet we are getting an upgrade...or so I thought. Nope. What they had to offer us was a, wait for it, HYUNDAI ELANTRA. A 7 passenger vehicle to a 5 passenger vehicle - I guess that's ok if a few of your passengers don't mind riding in the trunk (or on the roof) You're joking right? Nope? That was their solution. A Hyundai Elantra. So sorry about your trip but too bad so sad. SO while we were able to salvage our trip luckily I am afraid another family might not be so lucky. Just a little friendly heads up.
