Nothing beats community radio. Free training. Free mentorship. Incredible library. Incredible community and connections. Great history as Canada's oldest campus radio station. Recommended to make an appointment if you want a tour of the studios. Donations not required but appreciated.

If podcasting is something that intrigues you, then CFRC is worth your volunteer time and worth your dime. Conversations are inspiring, insightful and controversial. The energy and enthusiasum shared by the radio journalists is very genuine and inviting. It's easy to get hooked on contributing to CFRC fm in some way... and a great spot on campus to learn and hone your craft.
