Comfort King Windows and doors

We had a great experience with Comfort King right from the beginning. When we called to make a consultation appointment, Athena booked us for the last appointment of the day so that we could go after work rather than having to take time off. She even stayed past closing to answer all of our questions! Athena was very knowledgeable and she made suggestions of things that we never would have thought of. Both she and Mariana were both very responsive throughout the process. When our door was ready to be installed Bill and Bruce arrived on time and were very friendly! They did an excellent job installing the door - it looks beautiful, clean, and modern! They even installed the hardware that we had purchased elsewhere and they re-installed our doorbell camera for us. I would definitely recommend Comfort King and look forward to working with them next time we need new doors or windows!

I chose Comfort King based on the online reviews. My sales agent (Athena) was professional, knowledgeable and provided us with a range of options for the eight windows we were looking to replace. The installation crew was on time, worked efficiently and cleaned up inside and out following the install. I would not hesitate to refer Comfort King to family and friends.

I am very happy with my choice of Comfort King to install 7 windows in my home in 2022. I will use the company again in the future and recommend it to others without hesitation. Their window prices were very competitive. The triple glazed Fenex windows that they sell are an excellent Canadian product.The staff at the company are also top notch.Marek S., the sales representative was very helpful and patient explaining the various window options and technologies, answering questions and providing very comprehensive price quotations.Mariana O. was exceptionally good to work with in terms of scheduling the installation work. She was very helpful, professional and responsive to my needs. Two of the 7 windows had to be delivered and installed as the first step in a large kitchen renovation project. Mariana ensured that the windows were delivered and installed on an expedited basis so that the kitchen project was not delayed. Mariana was also very responsive with respect to scheduling the installation of the other 5 windows.The window installation work was done by Steve and Dustin and they did an excellent job. The installation of the 2 kitchen windows was complicated because they had to reframe an exterior wall, close the openings of an existing door and window, and install 2 new windows in accordance with the drawings provided by the kitchen designer. The work that they did was outstanding. Steve and Dustin were professional, friendly and a pleasure to have in the house. They did an amazing job on all 7 windows that they installed.Comfort King was an excellent company to work with from start to finish. They met all their commitments, and delivered on time and within budget despite all the strains and stresses of supply chain issues during the COVID pandemic. They get a 5-star rating from me on price, product, professionalism and quality. I will use the company again for any of my future door and window projects.

I believe in karma. If you don't take good care of your clients then you will loose your credibility.

We purchased all our windows and front doors through Comfort King. When the windows were being purchased I was expecting to have vinyl casing on all the windows, it was wood. When the installer was installing the windows. they put the wrong one in the spot.. he asked.. is it okay, I said no, it needs to open the other way and needs to be switched with the correct window. They did, but I am rather shocked they even asked that question. The door recommended by them was a Portatec. It was a 4750 door plus HST plus installation fees. Here we are 5.5 years later and there is a very large gap on the bottom half of the door frame. Light is streaming in. Comfort King has told us it is past warranty (warranty is 5 years) and to contact Portatec directly as they no longer deal with Portatec" Portatec has said they will come to assess with a minimum fee of $585 plus tax. This is most disappointing and will NOT be recommending either company."

We had a fantastic experience with Comfort King. We hired them to replace all of the windows in our house, and they were one of the only companies that could do the specialized work needed to preserve some of our heritage inner windows while replacing the outer ones (without going the insert route, which we didn't want). They did an outstanding job. Our windows look beautiful and we get tons of compliments. The staff were pleasant and professional and very easy to work with. Installation went smoothly. We couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely great experience dealing with Comfort King for the windows and doors on my new house. Athena did a great job of walking me through the options and making sure I had the right sizes and styles for my needs. She has been wonderful to work with and has answered my many follow up questions long after everything was delivered. Doug was also very helpful in providing installation information and answering my technical questions during the process. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality windows and doors in the Ottawa area.

After 19 years in the house, we were due for changing the front entrance door.Before we found Comfort King, we approached one company who gave us a run around, and created a great deal of frustration, not answering our queations and offering us options that we really did not like. They were dragging us for almost 4 months just to get quote.And then, we came accross Comfort King in our neighborhood.Athena, the sales rep, got back to us immidiately. She answered all our questions, with extreme patience and provided advice and suggestions after understanding what we were looking for.  We got the door that we were really looking for. She was very profesional and dealt with a great deal of patience and provided us with several options and ensured that we find the best option that was within our budget and suitable for the style of our house.
