Lady with an accent started raising her voice at me almost immediately into the call. I ignored it trying to be civil but she goes out of her way to start arguing about simple questions. You know the tone an insolent child gives you when they are irritated? That’s the tone she had, and for no reason. What triggered this you ask? I asked if she had a panel van available at her location. She didn’t have one, that’s what I found out after several minutes of her berating me for the basic questions that you’d ask at any Uhaul. At one point I told her that this is horrible customer service and to stop yelling at me, to which she yelled “ I’m nooooot yeeeeelling!!!” The call ended with her hanging up on me. You may think that you’re polite enough to avoid arguments with people like this, but this lady must have a degree in how to start arguments. It’s sad to see that there are other comments about her for a long time now and nothing has changed it seems. I should have checked the reviews first, but who does that for Uhaul? I will now, that’s for sure. I was going to call back but I just read that someone was hung up on several times. Unbelievable.

The owner tried to rip me off on the gas when I rented my Uhaul here. ALWAYS take a before and after shot of the gas tank and keep your receipt!!be cautious dealing with the owner.Also, this review is for the Dundas location on York Road. Not sure why it was coming up on Upper James. Never dealt there.

worst customer service. I called to ask some questions about renting a uhaul from Ontario to Alberta. I could barley understand the lady on the phone. She told me she can not confirm pick up from that location. When i told her i was not calling to ask that, i am calling because i have questions she hung up on me. I called back 3 times. the lady actually picked up and hung up without saying hello. AWFUL customer service. dont waste your time at this location. They have no clue want customer service means.

I just called to clear my confusion and she was very rude to me the girl who is working right now they need to learn customer service manners or I can teach them better how to deal with customer I don’t know how she got hired or management don’t give her feedback on her customer service ridiculous customer service was first experience with u Haul at upper James location and never gonna call this Idiot

There is one girl …. She is really rude… and she don’t know how to talk with the customer’s….. horrible experience with this location …. Even she don’t know what she is saying … i ask for her name .. and she hanged out my call …… we call them for that thing ….. i was call on 28 march 2023 and the time is 2:07pm to 2:15pm.

I called in to book a pick up truck, the representative was very rude from the start. I was trying to ask what availabilities she had for pick up trucks as the time I originally requested was not available and instead of answering my question, the representative started yelling at me stating I did not know what I wanted to book. We had to hang up and take our business else ware. The worst customer representative I've talked to and they lost my business right away. If the onwer is reading this, you should look into it beacuse your representative will drive all your business away.

Worst customer service I have EVER encountered.Extremely unprofessional and RUDE beyond words!

The lady with a strong accent who picks up the phone, learn some manners and how to conduct yourself. This behaviour is totally unacceptable and you have no right to harass customers like this!!

The absolute worst customer service and experience I’ve probably ever had. The lady on the phone fully said “ you want it or not” and when I responded saying excuse me, she hung up the phone. I called back and she proceeded to argue with me which I couldn’t really understand due to her strong accent. Very unprofessional and terrible service. 0 stars

Horrible. Called to reserve a van. Made the reservation for an hour later. Show up at a convenience store and the woman we made the reservation with has no idea about anything. Asks for reservation number then says she can't check the reservation number. Then keeps putting us on hold because she's tending the cash at the convenience store.Save yourself the trouble and call an actual U-Haul instead of this place.
