We used Colin as our realtor for the purchase of our first home, and if I could give him 6 stars out of 5 I would. We were pretty clueless, but Colin patiently walked through everything with us, and he has a wealth of knowledge that he is happy to share. He gave us so many pointers and never pressured us to make a decision, he just wanted to make sure that we had considered everything and were happy before we made the call. He was always extremely responsive, always getting back to us right away, and sometimes arranging viewings on very short notice. We also had the pleasure of dealing with Julie and Wolf, who are two of the most delightful people you'll ever meet!We just passed our third year in this house, and please accept my sincere apologies for the lateness of this review. Please take it as a testament to how happy we were with the whole experience (and also to my ability to procrastinate, eep). He brings a positive perspective.When we were first-time home buyers, we interviewed the top 5 realtors in Kelowna based on years of experience, reputation through word-of-mouth and social media, and we asked all of them the same set of questions. One of them lost interest in representing us when he realized we had a long list of questions. Another could not meet our deadline of looking to purchase a home within a week. But Colin stepped away from dinner with his family, answered all our questions, and proposed a few other questions for us to consider. He also drove us to 20 homes over a week before we made a decision to purchase. Colin will point out what the positives and negatives of any home, offer suggestions on renovations or refer you to someone for repairs, and he will bring a long-term perspective to what you or your family may need in a home. Despite his disclaimers that he is not a contractor or interior decorator, we find his advice to be better than what we have received from other professionals.We had a false start a few years ago when we decided to sell our house, but changed our mind at the last minute. Colin had invested time in creating a listing for us, helped us stage our home, researched the best price for us, etc. only for us to change our minds after a week. If there was disappointment or frustration on his part, he did not show it, and he genuinely understood our reasons for wanting to stay. Colin never puts pressure on you to sell or buy, but he can offer a plan for how to make a decision.When we came around to selling our home a few years later, Colin worked with us over four months to find our next home. At first, we thought about building a new home. Next, we looked at rural properties. Next, we looked for renovated homes that were under our budget. Later we decided that only an existing new build would be right for us. Finally, we decided on a home with a rental suite in it. Colin was there every step of the way. He brings in other realtors when you look at neighbourhoods or properties outside his area of expertise, he connects you with builders and contractors, and as a landlord himself, he can help you understand tenancies. Even after all the paperwork was finished, Colin made his cell phone available to us while he went camping on a long weekend, just in case we had any more questions. We were not sure how to repay him because he went above and beyond what is required of his profession, but we found out he loves cookies, so we backed him a few batches.

Colin is an awesome agent. He was recommended by a friend and we couldn't been happier. He is a great communicator and very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to accommodate us. We bought the condo within in a month. Would highly recommend him for any real estate transactions you might have.
