Had a great time chatting with Malcolm at the store. A few of the installers where present and I found them very helpful.The store sells Sony and Samsung products, and has a few nice displays. They don't have everything installed, but I found this refreshing as you don't really need to see every model. I certainly wasn't overwhelmed.If you're looking for a tv or sound system, it's worth stopping in to have a chat. Would recommend!

I recently purchased an Anthem MRX740 which I am very happy with, but there seems to a remote connection issue that presents itself once in a while. I called Malcolm, and he had Josh, the tech, come by and hook me up again. Josh set me up when I bought the Anthem with my existing speakers, along with two ceiling mount speakers. Josh was a pleasure to deal with as well as very knowledgeable. Great service all around from Liptons.A pleasure to deal with.Regards, Brian

I bought an AV receiver, and had some problems setting it up. No fault of the store, more of the manufacturers these days with their overly complicated hook up instructions. Malcolm, was very helpful in helping me overcome these issues. His knowledge and patience were outstanding. It got to the point where he asked me to bring in my subwoofer as it was not working with the system. He performed a test on it to verify whether it was working or not, it was. The issue came down to one of my cables, and also the submenu within the receiver itself. To make a very long story short, after a few hours, we got it working! It does not pay to get a component at a cheaper price at a box store. Trust me, they will tell you to use their tech people to set it up at an extra charge, with lots of hassle. Thank you Malcolm for all your help, extreme patience and professionalism with me!

Very helpful staff. Great pricing. I talked to Malcom for figuring out an issue ive had with my multi room speaker systems and we chatted for about an hour discussing different solutions and options. Great place to buy great electronics from great people! I have purchased a number of Sonos products and a Terrace TV from Malcolm at Lipton's.Malcolm was always a pleasure to deal with...but overall sometimes it is the little things that leave a lasting impression. I had bought this large TV and it was not going to fit in my vehicle. Malcolm arranged for it to be delivered...without hesitation and without a delivery fee. That is the difference between a small business and the big box stores.If you are looking to upgrade your home electronics...call Malcolm or go and visit Lipton's in Newmarket!Something to note, I did not find that the prices for mainstream brand name speakers, receivers, Sonos or televisions were any more expensive at Lipton's than the big stores.Lindsay and his team have brought together a nice selection of high-end pieces that will thrill both the audiophile and those looking for a new entertainment system.

Talked to the rep and he was very honest and knew his stuff.Unfortunately i ordered a defect from amazon but they’re more than happy to take them back. Give them a try if your looking for the best headphones.The difference in quality isn’t just the price,But the right advice/setup truly matters. I highly recommend the penrose or the maxwell from audeze. Price/performance cannot be compared to any other brand i promise you!
