We rented cottage 350 in the summer of 2016 and we had a phenomenal time and no poor experiences.Thank you for your awesome customer service Northern Comfort.

I can't review with a star and I've never rented with this company. However I wonder if the owners know how ridiculous their cancellation policy is. The places look great but not being able to pay by credit card (which gives the buyer recourse) combined with a ridiculous cancellation policy I would think would not be good for business.

My Family (4) Rented 369 Dickey Lake (AKA) 371 Skene Rd for 1 Week. 2nd Day after 6 Hrs of Rain, Well Water Water Filters became Clogged with Sand & Dirt. This Resulted in Very Limited OR NO Water. My Family Could NOT Shower, Toilets Would NOT Fill, Dishwasher & Washing Machine Would NOT Operate. NCCR, Northern Comfort Cottage Rental Agency would only provide My Family with Owners Contact Info. Owner DID NOT send a Service Person to address the Water Issue. Owner DID NOT come to Their Rental to FIX this Issue that Strongly Impacted My Family’s Enjoyment of this Cottage Rental. Owners LAST Text to Me, and I Quote “I guess the unexpected can always happen. It is a cottage”. So they acknowledge that the Unexpected CAN always happen, BUT the Owner at NO Time are Prepared to DO ANYTHING about it. The Owner Will NOT Compensate Me with a FULL or PARTIAL Financial Refund. I STRONGLY Would NOT Recommend this Rental Listing to Anyone. Furthermore NCCR must feel that a $4,600 (all in) does NOT need to include Water. Truly SAD.
