Dr. Ashby was fantastic with seeing my dog on a semi-emergency situation. Her gentle manner and fear free approach really helped my dog stay calm. My dog didn't even flinch during what could have been a painful situation and left the clinic with her tail wagging. I would highly recommend Carriage Crossing Animal Hospital.

Dr Ashby is the worst vet in town. Overpriced, insensitive and cold. Should not be practicing. She diagnosed my pet incorrectly and sent him home with pain medication when he needed emergency operation. He almost died and suffered at the hands of this vet. The best is she charged $1400.00 for incorrectly diagnosing my cat. If you value your pets life, stay far away. It was traumatic for my family. Dr Ashby values money, not your pets life.

Excellent medical care for your fur babies. Dr. Ashby and her team are extremely caring, competent, responsible, and respectful professionals. Dr. Ashby performed life saving emergency surgery on my cat, who swallowed a spoolfull of thread, and treated my immune mediated hemolytic anemic (IMHA) dog, who is now in remission. If you want the best care for your pets, I highly recommend Carriage Crossing, and I also would advise you that pet insurance is worth every penny, if you and your pet face the type of unexpected emergencies that we have faced.

We can’t say enough about Dr Ashby and her team. She is definitely in a league of her own. There simply is no better care available anywhere. Dr Ashby is the gold standard in Vet care for pets.

The staff at Carriage Crossing have always been so helpful and truly care about your furry friends. Not only are they caring about the animals but the owner's as well. Dr. Ashby is wonderful, and the care plans they offer, make it incredibly easy to ensure your pet is getting the care it needs, when it's needed.

Carriage Crossing is the best vet in the area! We recently switched over from a vet in Kitchener and I have been beyond impressed with the care, love and professionalism given from Dr Ashby and team. Our previous vet spent 5-10 minutes looking at our pup and prescribing costly medicines that may or may not have helped. Dr Ashby has spent multiple hours treating our pup and listening to us and answering our questions so we feel informed and in control of the issues and treatment plans. Moreover following each visit we get an email health card outlining what was discussed and tracking our dog's progress. Dr Ashby is clearly passionate and dedicated to animal health and I 100% trust her for the well being of our furbaby. I wholeheartedly recommend this vet for anyone looking for quality care for your animal.

Wonderful and Loving staff no doubt!! However after going to her for a few years she recommended our 2 year old, health & active dog require X-rays & surgery on her knees & needed an answer by the end of the week..LOL. Coming from a medical background this didn't make sense so decided to get SEVERAL opinions. ALL other experienced vet we went to all said the same thing There is no indication for this dog to have knee surgery

Dr Ashby runs a fearfree clinic and offers transparent, clear advice for pet owners. I trust her to tell me as it is, not downplay or dismiss my and my dog's concerns, and to be conscientious about the costs of my dog's care. My dog is reactive and has stranger anxiety, and she and her team guided me through Cooperative Care training, which proved essential after Marty developed pancreatitis. She and her team has devoted an enormous amount of time, energy and patience with me and my dog, and now Marty trusts and feels comfortable going to the vet. Her team (shoutout to Lori) is also so friendly and fantastic. I'm so incredibly grateful to have found this clinic!

Fantastic doctors and staff. We have a dog so can only speak for my experience with a large dog at this place. They love your pets just like they would, for their own. A tremendous amount of care and personal attention to you and your pet. I highly recommend their services to any dog owner.
