The Illusion Lounge
If your looking for a vibe, this is where it’s at. Music is lit, DJ has all the sickest beats. All staff and owners give amazing hospitality and make your experience elevate to the next level. Also, they provide a heater outside for those cold days for people who are waiting in line ! My wife and I are extremely grateful with the experiences at illusion !! If you haven’t been here you’re missing out !

Came from Ontario on a trip to Banff thought I’d stop by Edmonton & see what this clubs about.. literally the size of a bedroom the club is super small, vibes weren’t there we left after being there for 5min & went to cook county saloon which was amazing!!!! This club isn’t worth spending money on!!! But I will give them the security there is super polite very nice people did their job right!!! Besides that just wasn’t for me.. cleanish place decent music just too small for my liking.

Absolutely terrible experience - I was there for an event to watch a famous performer. First, they ran out of coat check capacity and were putting guests’ jackets on the floor - couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Second, the security plan and staffing were not organized and coordinated very well resulting in a loss of crowd control. Once the performer came out security had a really hard time stopping people from pushing and fighting. It was to the point where I couldn’t even get to the coat check to retrieve my jacket and leave. Security definitely tried their best, but it seemed they weren’t given any direction and not enough staff for an event like this.I’ve been to clubs in the city and Canada before and never had this happen. Will likely not be returning to Illusion.

Attended with friends last weekend, bar tender was a rip off!! At 11 she said we are out of regular vodka, like wth? And served expensive ones only. Two shots for $40. I felt like I was being ripped off. Too many creeps in this place and security did nothing even when I told them. It wasn’t a good time at all. Never again!

The space itself isn't too special, but the music was great. Props too all the dj's, had a fun time there!Unfortunately, the experience was soured as we were leaving. Security said I could come back inside after calling a cab (too loud to call one inside), but wouldnt let me back inside at first. Thankfully the other security gaurd let me back in. Otherwise the security was on the ball the rest of the night.

Never again will I ever come back to this place. I went here over the weekend for my friends birthday and I was the designated driver, so I was not drinking. I went to the bar to get a corona and a shot for my friend. I gave the bartender $100 bill and she gave me back $60. I proceeded to tell her that she did not give me back the right amount of change and she insisted that she did. I noticed this because I was actually going to leave her a tip. I feel like she tried to do this on purpose because she thought I may have been drinking, but even when I called her out, she still lied to me. I work in the restaurant industry myself, and as a bartender, I would never try to steal from a guest. I didn’t make a big deal about it in the moment because she obviously needed that $10 tip more than I did.

Really disappointing place. I bought 2 tickets to spend New Year’s Eve and it took 30 mins to get in, like they probably oversold tickets for the capacity they can hold and once we got into the club, the coat check could not take our jackets because they already had too many… so we found ourselves extremely crowded with our jackets, really not ideal in a club. I was excited for that evening, it turned out we just left few mins after we got in, we did not want to wait for the count down because it was really not worth it. And even the staff seemed overwhelmed… really not worth the $40 tickets they sold.

I had high hopes for this place but I have honestly never had a more terrible experience!! Door staff was incredibly rude to guests as is and then getting into the venue the lady at the front was one of the most rude people I’ve ever encountered. Yelling in my face asking for my money. I understand it is loud in a bar but she was full on yelling and giving me an attitude when I asked her about cover fees. What happened to hello? $20 just to get yelled at and treated like a burden for wanting to have a good night out with friends. Inside the experience is not even worth the $20. Clearly the staff hate their job and have no clue what hospitality is….Definitely won’t be back !

I recently visited here and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The club has a fantastic atmosphere, with a modern design and state-of-the-art lighting and sound system.The music was amazing, with a wide range of genres to choose from and talented DJs who kept the crowd moving all night long. The dance floor was always packed, and the energy was electric.Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun and exciting night out. From the friendly staff to the fantastic music and atmosphere, it was a truly unforgettable experience. I can't wait to visit again!
