Wander the Resort

My bestie and I have a wonderful time at Wander Resort. We stayed there by the day by the lake. The beds were comfy and cute. The food was delicious. We ordered the shrimp rolls, wander burger, a pitcher of marguarita and a bottle of Prosecco. Will definitely visit again.It's too bad that we don't have access to the pool- something the resort should reconsider.

My family and I stayed at the Wander in May as a mini Mother’s Day treat to myself. For 2 years I would watch as rooms would be fully booked throughout the year and kept hoping I would catch a moment when there were a few bookings still opened. We finally had the opportunity to stay during the week and I now completely understand why. From the very moment we arrived (which was a bit earlier than expected) the team made us feel apart of their family. They accommodated an earlier check in because they knew we had a little toddler and had travelled in early, and kept us feeling so welcomed and taken care of our entire stay. In the evenings when our little one went to sleep, we enjoyed drinks and little bites by our cabin’s outdoor fire pit and in the day we were offered fun things to explore around the resort (the little goat petting farm was a hit with our daughter!). We had such a beautiful time together as a little family and truly loved everything minute of it. A special thank you to Melanie, Nikki, and Erika for making our first experience at Wander so memorable ❤️❤️❤️

My partner and I couldn’t be happier with the service we experienced! We celebrated our anniversary here and everything about the Wander was amazing! All the staff were wonderful and attentive.We couldn’t recommend this place more, whether you’re just going for a meal or a little getaway you will definitely be well taken care of here!

Wow, incredible place, the day spa and pools were amazing, so relaxing, had to bring my husband back to check this incredibly chill place out, and his mind is blown!!! So inspiring. Very excellent staff, Taren was a wealth of knowledge, and the food was just fantastic!!! Cannot wait to book one of their beautiful Bunkie's on the water for a coolest group of peeps!

My friends and I stayed for a short trip and it was a spectacular experience. Our poolside cabin was wonderful and well stocked with what we needed. The beach area had an amazing lakeside view and plenty of seating. Even though it was chilly and rained during our stay the pool was warm enough to swim in and the hot tub even better! Staff was so courteous and welcoming upon arrival and checkout was easy. We are hoping to come back in the future!

Our weekend stay at Wander was amazing, very relaxing. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the pool area on a Saturday, it was busy but the staff are on top of making sure everyone had a chair or lounge seat, bringing more in if required. The sauna, hot tub, warm pool and cool pool were enjoyed by all family members. Each cabin has their own indoor and outdoor fireplace / firepit with big wooly blankets for cool evenings. The cabin was spotless upon arriving, we ordered a snack basket and charcuterie, both full of food - s'mores and a bag of gourmet popcorn were on the house. There is everything one might need plus more, fully stocked kitchen, wireless speakers, diffusers, lotions, oils, shampoo, conditioner - all very high quality. The floors are heated and there is ample space for a family of 4. The outdoor area provides good privacy and there are a lot of lounge chairs and firepit lakeside. You are provided with a mobile number to text for any questions you have or services you might want - they answer within 5-10 minutes (amazing!) We enjoyed breakfast one morning at the Clubhouse and it was delicious. It's a pricey stay, but well worth it. We will be back!

My girlfriends and I recently spent the weekend here and stayed in one of the most luxurious cabins. Our experience from booking to checking out was seamless. We were celebrating a bachelorette and truly had the best time! The staff was amazing, resort was stunning, rooms and cabins were spotless. Thank you for having us - we will be sure to come back!

We visited Wander with our 3 kids (12, 9, and 7) in December 2022 for a disconnected winter getaway, and it was such a beautiful opportunity to be present and spend time together as a family in peace and quiet. The resort is small, so there was a very intimate feeling, and the staff made us feel at home. We were able to text the staff at any time with any questions and they were incredibly responsive, even prior to our arrival.The cabins are comfortable, beautiful and private and we all had a fantastic stay over 4 nights. The kids loved making s’mores on the deck and sitting by the fire. We had requested some sleds for the kids when we checked in and the staff brought them over for us almost immediately upon arrival at our cabin. We also celebrated a milestone birthday while there, and the staff were so helpful in setting up a small birthday surprise. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we would go back in a heartbeat!

Had an amazing weekend stay at Wander! Right from when we arrived the vibes were great and the staff was super friendly! We checked in, had our complimentary welcome drinks and felt welcomed from the team. The ability to text anything to them is super helpful.The cabins were nice and a great size for our party of 5. We figured that going in January would be a different experience than in the summer but there was still plenty to do both on site and in the county. Melanie was super lovely and had some great recommendations of wineries and places in the area to check out during our stay!Also, be sure to book a spot in the lakeside sauna ... The view is unrealllllllll!Can't wait to come back!
