Updated my living room this fall and changed out an appliance this past summer. Jathen and the team are always helpful and efficient. I’ve always walked away happy with my purchase and would 100% recommend shopping with them!

Excellent experience shopping at City Furniture Castlegar. Good products and prices. And Manjit was helpful and inspired confidence. We bought a beautiful sofa and love seat - perfect for our space . Thanks Manjit for a great shopping experience.

Fair prices. Fast delivery and friendly service. Nice that the warehouse keeps a bigger stock than other places, so no long waits for the items to come in.

Customer service not good today. I asked for a specific item and was laughed at" - even though the item I wanted was listed online exactly as I described. The floor model was not accurately priced and I had to point it out to the employee. It seemed like I was an inconvenience for the employee. I left frustrated and drove down to the Brick to buy the exact same item for the exact same price with a very helpful employee over there!"

Walked around getting no help. Interested in a full living room set up, im leaving empty handed. Notice the guy at the counter on his phone who actively ignored us.

Knowledgeable staff did not waste my time. Knew their products.Boxing Week Sale prices OK but no better than Costco online regular prices.Salesperson explained that end of year selection is less as new models will be coming soon.I would shop there again even though I did not find what I wanted.

Great experience from browsing to buying to delivery. Karen was excellent to work with & we really appreciate her getting our delivery out the next morning. Delivery drivers were also awesome - very careful, quick and on time. Prices very fair and they had stock that other places, unfortunately, do not currently have.

I’ve been to this store (and a few others) several times over the past year looking for living room furniture.Each and every time I have been treated with total respect from everyone.This last time in I was still having some second thoughts as to what to buy but Karen (Sales Associate) showed me some other options and we found something to fit my needs.The prices and quality were very good and the delivery people were great also.Thanks Karen, Management and everyone there.I will be back.

We bought all our furniture needs there. I thought it would be super hard to spend that much money in one setting but we were put at ease by the staff.They were very knowledgeable and friendly.I'd recommend city furniture for sure and if you go in... ask for Karen.Karen you made our visit spectacular and easy. My experience at City Furniture was disappointing. After spending a few hours looking for a couch and finally finding something my partner and I agreed on we where told we had to purchase the love seat with it. This was not indicated anywhere and all items in the store where priced individually with no indication of things having to stay as sets. It was very misleading and frustrating. What a waist of time when I did not have time to waist. Beware when shopping there as if you find something you like they may not sell it to you even though each item is individually priced with no indication of things having to go as sets. It also had samples of all the different colour options however the couch has been discontinued and they only had the one and colors where not an option also very deceiving. It looks good but it ain't good. We where trying to bye local but I would not recomend this store and if you do go it make sure to ask about everything before you find something you like.
