Vava Designer Cakes Richmond Hill

have ordered cakes from Vava designer cake many times, for birthday or regular cravings. They always have great tastes and quality, I Iove their sponge cake base, very fluffy. and the cake itself not too sweet overall, just perfect for my taste buds. This time have ordered their new year edition taro cake for my parents birthday, we all love the flavours, mixed layovers of different ingredients make the cake very tasty.

The taro mochi flavour was very delicious and everyone enjoyed it ! It’s a little hard to cut but it’s worth it. It was smaller than expected. Service was friendly ! Would like to try their cupcake next time. Sadly they only come in sets of 6.

I ordered an Oreo brownie chocolate chiffon cake and it is extremely delicious. The cake is so soft and the cream is fluffy. It has the right amount of sweetness so that we can have as much as we want.The packaging is excellent, I went to the shop which is small and tidy. Staff was friendly. They offer only take out.Highly recommended.

We have been ordering cakes from Vava for the past three years and we have never been disappointed! They have a wide range of designs and every time it was a hit! We also like the airy sponge cake with not-too-sweet cream with it… we can’t wait to try all the seasonal flavours too!

Had a cake from this store before at one of my friends’ birthday. It was really tasty and not too sweet. So this time I ordered one for my other friend’s birthday (I ordered one with Oreo and chocolate,less sugar this time as the one I had before is sold out. ). The customer service are very nice and helpful so it is easy to make the order. The location at Richmond hill is very convenient and close to one of my friends. This cake is also really good!! It is soft and not too sweet! I had a little complain for the pickup experience. We booked at 12pm for pickup. However, our cake is late. (when my friend went for pick up this morning at 12 she was told that nothing is available at the store, they were waiting for their delivery from another store. And asked everyone to wait in their car. I guess all cakes come from the north York store. And for some reason the delivery is late that morning ) I raised my concern to their customer service team and it got resolved very soon after that. Also Surprised by the little gift from the store due to this inconvenience. Thanks to their 5-start customer service and the tasty cake, everyone is happy at the end. Next time hopefully it can send out some notification at least 30mins before the appointment if the cake cannot be ready on time/ or text people when the cake is ready for pick up in the next 30 minutes. It was not fun to wait in the car especially in winter.

They have some really nicely designed cakes and the purchasing experience was very smooth. The cake was packaged nicely and didn't break or deform during my drive home. The cake tasted amazing and my family loved it!

Had three cakes in this location. Never goes wrong. Asian sweetness. They always have creative combinations.

Cakes are well made both in looks and taste. Always right on point on sweetness, never too sweet, perfect for my Asian taste buds. Custom cakes are made perfect to the order, and great customer service is definitely a plus too.

Finally got to try Vava after seeing so many rave reviews on google and 小红书. There are many unique flavours to chose from, and they cake itself is light and airy while being not too sweet. I purchased the Taro Mochi cake and Strawberry Chiffon for a birthday, and my family couldn’t stop talking about it all night! Friendly staff, high quality ingredients, while being reasonably priced, no complaints! Definitely will be back to try other flavours.
