All Dressed Up

I went in looking for my" normal style in a dress and was pleasantly surprised with what they suggested instead. I won't lie I was nervous to go in as the ratings on here weren't the best

I had an amazing experience, lots of helpful polite staff, a HUGE selection of beautiful dresses for any age, size and occasion!I found the most unique beautiful dress to wear to my brother in laws wedding... I couldn't have been happier with my experience!

Absolutely outstanding experience!! The store was clean and beautiful, the staff was knowledgable and very polite. They treated my daughter like she was a princess! They had an extensive selection of gorgeous gowns to choose from. Definitely the best store in the city for prom and formal gowns!

I've purchased there over the years, and the service was exemplary! Not so now. Two young women were focused on the young women already in the shop. I was ignored. I finally got the attention of one salesperson who obliged me with a fitting room, without offering assistance in finding the right dress. After trying on the first dress, I stepped out, expecting the attention that All Dressed Up used to offer, and was again ignored. I interrupted and asked for advice, however the salesperson was having her lunch and didn't offer any service. I changed and left, with nothing more than a smile from the salesperson. Very sad that All Dressed Up is no longer the go-to for the right dress.

My daughter and I appeared at the end of the day without appointments and were welcomed by the staff at All Dressed Up. They quickly assessed what my daughter was interested in, made helpful suggestions, patiently permitted her to try on as many dresses as required to find the perfect colour, the perfect fit and the perfect style! All Dressed Up is not the least expensive place to shop, but you get what you pay for. Service matters. Knowledge matters. I feel very good about our purchase, and we are excited to receive the dress which needed to be ordered in the colour, size and style the would make my daughter feel special! Highly recommend.

I went into this store yesterday, with my daughter, after having a disappointing experience at another shop. I had called previously and asked if they had any dresses that might be on sale, as my daughter is not graduating this year, and I will have to buy a second dress next year. Anyway, I was very impressed with the service. The salesgirl was able to bring me a great selection of dresses, and even checked the list for my daughter's school, to make sure that the dress would not be a duplicate. The store was extremely neat and clean and we felt like she really cared that my daughter look and feel beautiful! Overall I can't rave enough about how positive this experience was, and we will definitely be back next year!!!

Went with my daughter yesterday and all the girls that were working today went above and beyond to make sure that all the young ladies trying dresses on felt like queens. My daughter not only didn’t want to go shopping but didn’t want to go to prom. We made a appointment the night before just to see if she’d even look. She was assigned with Cassie and that girl worked her magic, she made her feel comfortable and was so patient. We left to look around at a couple other stores, and nowhere compared to the customer service at All Dreesed Up . We called back to ask if it was possible to stop back by to retry a dress on, they gave us a time we went back and all the girls working cheered her on, let her try it back on. And we left with the perfect, most stunning dress and a kid that actually wants to go to prom now.Thank you ladies, you have no idea how much this means to this momma !!!!

Very disappointed by this place. We had very high hopes when we visited with my niece. Very limited styles and if you are over a size 4, forget about it. The staff wasn't very helpful and I even witnessed a very rude exchange toward another customer.

EXTREMELY unprofessional staff. Did not greet or help when I entered the store / searched for a dress. Instead they called friends on their phone talking about how they were going downtown to drink after they got off work.. so many other amazing welcoming local shops in Halifax. Don’t waste your time.

Worst service and staff ever. Selfish for the sale of size 14 dress on a size 4-6 person. Stated the dress had to be chosen fr in stock and the dresses were 2020 stock at full price. The price is not my concern its the ignorance of the staff to make a sale regardless if the seamstress could resize it or not. I didnt know this until after the final sale! I will never go back, they dont deserve the business.
