Slave Lake Grill
Really nice, friendly hole-in-the-wall! The food is delicious and surprisingly authentic, considering it’s Slave Lake, Alberta. The surprise winner was the dressing on our side salads, and the homemade kimchi was also great! I had the beef bulgogi, and my dinner buddy had the teriyaki grilled chicken. Really tasty and great portions. The service was warm and friendly. The couple who run this place are so sweet.I love Korean food, and I have to say this was a REALLY delightful little find. Definitely worth a visit!

New to the area. Tried to go for lunch, didn’t look like the restaurant is still operating here. Plants at the entrance, only a small sign in one window with the restaurant name. Drove around it twice, Seemed closed so we left.

I don't want to write anything negative about the restaurant as it's run by an elderly couple and I respect their hard work. If you are visiting just tell them to be easy on the soya sauce.

The BEST Korean food I’ve ever tasted.it’s the best restaurant in slave lake.if I can write 500 stars I would.tastes great and great service the restaurant has great environment inside clean,great decorations. Check this restaurant out food smells great even the rice smells great. it’s like a diamond in a pile of rocks super awesome restaurant!!!

I agree with the reviews here. This place is truly a hidden gem and the owners are super nice and friendly. The bulgogi pork was delicious and spicy! I highly recommend this authentic Korean restaurant if you're here visiting!

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. The sweetest couple owns it and make everything from scratch right in front of you. The informal sitting area is full of green life and eclectic art. The best part is the food! It's always delicious, no matter what you pick, and they have the best beef bulgogi I have ever enjoyed. I will stop in Slave Lake just to pick up a meal here.

Stopped here as I was passing through Slave Lake for work. Best Korean food Ive had in eons. Pork Bulgoki was the lunch special - $18.00; salad, a bowl of rice and the bulgoki pork - the flavours were simply amazing. Fresh vegetables, garlic and spices - you wont be disappointed.The owners were gracious hosts and delightful as well.A slice of heaven for the palette. Dont miss this treasure, its worth the 3 hour drive from Edmonton.
