Clean. Bright. Bit expensive. Some of the staff aren't very knowledgeable about gardening supplies but they are friendly and considerate.

Excellent store with good customer service but only limited items in stock. Their website has it all though.

Renovated our whole house and my mother in laws house from the roof to foundation, drywall, plumbing and electrical. Home hardware carbonear has the most knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff there is. From same day delivery at the most reasonable price, To finding the products you need. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else.

If you choose a Beaver home from the cataloge at Home hardwear they will not provide the blue prints...very limited info. We had to see an Architect $700 to design the Banff 3 as of 2022 cataloge; they won't give us or didn't have the blueprints/designs in Newfoundland. Reasonable price for material with delivery...nice delivery guys & Brandon is top notch & provides of everything quickly. Mostly positive experience with this location but overall disappointing in Beaver homes design availability.

Overcharged me for 2 x 4 studs. Over $10 for a stud!?! Glad I only need 12.I didn’t notice til I left as I was in a hurry to get extra material for my contractor. Won’t shop there again

Needed one board and they cut it the lengths I needed it to be too it was awesome.Changing my review because ignoring customer feedback on male employees arguing with female customers on how many screws were needed for a project. Just because we bought one board to finish the project doesn't mean we don't need more nails or screws. This is why a previous 5 star review was changed to 2 star.

Always very helpful staff and I always manage to get what I need at a reasonable price. I go here for all my home needs.

I recently built a 20x24 garage. The quote was prepared by this store and the bulk of the materials were purchased from there. The bad, I did have issues with some of the material amounts, not enough of some and too much of others. One lot of materials was left out completely, this meant several return trips to the store for returns or other purchases. The good, the materials were of good quality for the most part except for the shingles which they replaced no questions asked. The store staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They delivered my materials for free, (thinking this was done as I had the entire delivery dropped off in one shot). On my last trip to the store I spoke with the manager and described my experience of the numerous trips back and the reasons, she was very apologetic and understanding, upon reviewing my story she called and offered me a store gift card. In my opinion this was good business and the store will continue to be my go to store.
