They do decent produce and everything. I was even able to get a raw sugar cane there once before which was really cool. Also do the Perfectly Imperfect" produce

Bought 7 bags of buns that were on discount, tossed them in the freeze at home. Left one bag out to eat on Christmas eve. Ate a few buns and became sick for Christmas as they were moldy. I started defrosting bags of buns to find they are all moldy. Tried to return them and they told me final sale". Sure and final time I'll be shopping here. I'll spend thousands on groceries somewhere else now."

Tyler's NOFRILLS Port Alberni
This is the best grocery store in Port Alberni to buy fresh fruits and vegetables at the cheapest rates. There is a good choice of bread, cookies, and bakery products, as well milk and dairy. There is less availability of household cleaning and maintenance products and clothing and accessories and we had to visit the Walmart Supercentre next door for it. The parking lot is common for both the stores as both are located within the Pacific Rim Shopping Centre. Shopping carts at No Frills have to be unlocked by depositing a dollar in the slot so that you remember to return the cart instead of leaving it in the parking lot.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices, normally well stocked... This is my/our reliable go to store for most of our shopping needs. Anytime I have had to ask the staff there a question. Really good about knowing where it is, or knowing it is not in stock so I don't go on a treasure hunt.

The portions are HUGE! Make sure you are Hungary when you go there! I an eat a lot, but I had to take half the omelet home. It was made with 3 extra large eggs, had real chunks of sausage, bacon, veges. Mm-Mm! I am switching my patronage from Kelly's Kitchen Cafe to Tannia's@

The owner of this store started out stocking these very shelves. Down to earth and hands on. The experiences of shopping here have crossed cities. I have been told great things about this store from people living over 200km away. If your tired of being disappointed at Walmart, level up to this No Frills.

By far my store of choice in Port Alberni. Price wise, they live up to their “won’t be beat” slogan. Good selection of products. If it isn’t at No Frills it is probably only available in a specialty shop.The staff are always friendly and ready to help. Tyler and his family run a great business and are visibly contributing to our town in other ways.
