UPDATE on prior review. Finally returned our email 6 business days later but very early in morning and woke me up. I was not prepared at all for the conversation . Was told to call back and also told does not mean that my call would be answered right away as they are very busy". Very abrupt on the phone. If so busy how about hiring more people to help with the demand? Left another message. Recorded messase says experiencing a high volume of calls and your call may not be returned for 5 business days??? Guess we keep on waiting and waiting. Is there any easier way than this? In Peel Region we never had this red tape to go through. We await a call back.Well got a call back. This time they were pleasant and asked all about my son. Sending info to them and awaiting services offered but was told there is a long wait list. So after all this we will still be waiting."

Emailed them to register one week ago. Website says response in 2 business days. Still no response. Called them no answer. Will try again. Will reconsider this rating later. Not happy as only if you register are services provided. We are new to this city and this is a strange way of getting services through a third party. Never been this frustrated . If they do not respond we cannot be refered to other agencies they deal with. This is denying my child services that are needed. Such a fragmented system in this city. UPDATE: It is now Jan 31st 2019. Still waiting for a reply from a phone call and email sent in Nov 2018. How long do people wait for service in this city????? Are they that short staffed??? HORRIBLE!!!! Complaining to my City Councellor to interveneI am at my wits end.

I have nothing good to say, so I’m saying nothing

Waited almost one year for urgent services. Finally in and they want to see my child during school hours. How is that helping when that's one of her issues. First interview was awful, clinician was not well informed or clear on what type of therapy my child would receive (I worked in mental health for 10 years, this is not normal), and spent most of the time talking about herself.Better off going to the ER or family doctor.

A very fragmented system, that lacks accountability or expertise in patient care. My hope is that, the Ministry of Children and Youth Services can and will, support changes to Contact Hamilton's current lack of ability to support their communitie's needs.

What's hilarious is the 5 stars that were given by people like Lloyd Mackenzie are people that work there.This is absolutely an awful place. Response time does not reflect the policy on voicemails; no one answers their phones, bring up a concern to Lloyd and he gets angry. Always delays on receiving funding despite the fact that they can override the system. Time for a complaint to go further up the foodchain. The customer service is outrageous. Fact these people have jobs is a slap in the face to the unemployed. I wonder how Doug or Lisa Mcelod would feel about getting complaints directly to their offices. Could be the only way of getting service.....Might be time to start.
