Barrie Karate

Both my kids are in Karate at Barrie Karate. They are really enjoying their karate class and learning lots of good things in a friendly environment. The staff is very professional and environment is positive. I would definetly recommend this school to anyone at any age.

We have been going to karate twice a week for almost a year and a half now, and my little guy still looks forward to every lesson! At Barrie Karate, they teach all the core values you would expect: discipline, focus, patience, self confidence, and respect, all while making the classes fun and inclusive.The new dojo is great, and much more conveniently located. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, and really take the time to get to know their students and the parents.

My son is attending Barrie Karate. He just started few months ago. We are not sure if he would really like it and go for it but every class he attends he always say when we asked how was it? I would recommend BARRIE Karate to many people of all ages and have done so. Before my daughter Taylor started here, she was shy, didn’t know what she wanted to do, and unsure of herself. She is now confident, more outspoken rather than shy, is learning great self defence mechanisms, and she is absolutely loving it. She has now been going for over a year and a half and on her way to her blue belt.For anyone looking for ways to defend themselves, and get fun exercise at the same time, I would suggest trying it out at BARRIE Karate. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful as well.

Our daughter just started karate this fall to pick up some self defense and to go along with her dance. Barrie Karate's classes are a fantastic way for her to keep up her conditioning and flexibility and to learn a lot of different skills, both physically and mentally. The Sensei's are very professional, maintaining a high standard yet always being respectful of each students level and skill sets.The dojo is in a good location, esp. for central and south Barrie, lots of parking. Very clean and well organized.Highly recommended!

The Sensei's of Barrie Karate really care about the kids! The classes are easy to get to with lots of variety on days/times to fit multiple children's schedules. Each class has been different, always learning new things and the kids are always excited to be there. Parents are friendly and welcoming and it's just a great place to watch your children grow and flourish. Highly recommended!

My daughter has been attending Barrie Karate for several years and she can't get enough! The facility is very well run: clean, professional with excellent instructors. This dojo has been amazing throughout COVID, offering virtual and in person classes when possible. We came to Barrie Karate to help our son develop build self esteem, confidence, respect, discipline. Matthew attended the classes a few times already and every after each class he can't wait to return for more.
