Warning to anyone thinking of shopping here, do not buy from this location. What a gong show of a store. Staff here think that all open box purchases are final sale only, full stop. Obviously OB are previously returned products - why would any reasonable person accept that risk transfer from a retailer?? Either you stand behind your products or not and this is not acceptable given that other Canada Computers stores have common sense. Waste of time to even visit this place...

Worst shopping experience ever,On December 11th, I purchased a CPU cooler at Canada computer; after the installation, the PC won't boot to win 10; I needed to press F12 and select the boot managers; therefore, I sent the PC to them for technical support take a look. On December 13th around 3:20 PM, before I went to the store, I gave them a call that I was coming in 10 mins; the two gentlemen who sat behind the services counter refused me to do the quick check due to poor space management? and only told me to leave the computer with them, and it will take two to three days for them to finger out why; from my point of view, this is not only lack of internal communication but also no service want to provide to the customer, all they care is the money but F your service.If you read the comments, please save yourself valuable time and money not going there; Memory Express will be a good alternative.Thanks

I had a computer problem with my newly purchased gaming laptop.(not the store's fault) and Madelin was able to fix my problem in 10 minutes no questions asked. If you want some competent sevice, come here.

Order a GPU from them, payed online. My order wasn’t processed within a week, after that I decided to write to support where I was told that my payment has an issue. So, they did not contact me, moreover, asked me to write to their accounting department that hasn’t given me anything useful. I ended up with canceling the order. Haven’t seen worse customer support in years. It’s not how you do business in 2023. Try to avoid their online store, it’s awful.

They need to train their staff regarding the warranty which they sell for extra but they don't accept doing anything.We got the GPU from them and the sales rep told us there is an extended warranty between 1-4 years at different prices you can add to cover your GPU and I chose 2 years.Now they are telling me the warranty is for the time when the product is in the manufacturer warranty ( 3 years ) and they tried to send me back to the store where I bought the GPU in Vancouver. And even they told me I need to find my sales person who told me it is an extended warranty and that person is no longer in that store anymore.Just refusing the service and I think they scam people for getting their rewards of sales of warranty.

I previously got blue screen problem and came to the store for ssd to update my desktop. William was very professional and friendly to help me find what I need. He is also willing to learn what’s going with my laptop and helped me to find ram, which later on prove to have a bunch of error code, resolved my problems once and for all. Highly recommend to come here. Everyone works here is very friend and helpful. Plz avoid Richmond location and come here if you can :)

It's okay, it had what I needed. The best part of this place though is that if you need a specific part for building or upgrasing your computer, chances are they will have it. Best Buy just don't carry stuff like this. Best Buy carries things that are already made so a lot of accessories or upgrades that you want for your computer you can't get there, so you'd need a store like this. Check their website first to see if they have what you want in stock, cuz sometimes they have it at one location but not another. Watch out for that.

The service I received buying a new desktop was initially good. But once I got home I realized that their were a few things missing that I would have liked my motherboard to support. I called them before going back to see if they had an alternative to my issue. I basically was sold something I was reassured would work. Got home and sure enough, nope. The snarky attitude I got from one of the employees was beyond acceptable, laughing in my face while he was standing behind his manager.. Smirking.. I wish kids today understood proper ways of dealing with customer service. That's all. I'd recommend going elsewhere or maybe just the location on Grandview.

We shop this store for our computer needs because the staff is knowledgeable and they always have items we need stocked. My son has rebuilt his computer and they are very helpful with technical questions.I highly recommend this store for your computer needs. Whether you are buying new rebuilding or replacing parts they can and will get you set up with all your needs. They also can fix your equipment or install programs. Go check them out. Great store.

The manager/owner needs customer service training. The employees should administer that since they seem to excel at this (great experiences with the employees here). It's unfortunate they have have poor leadership. Do not buy from this store, go to another Canada Computer shop, as I've had nothing but good experiences from them online and at other stores. The manager/owner at this Burnaby location clearly doesn't understand customer service, as he behaves as if customers are an inconvenience and proceeds to cut customers off when they are explaining the issues they are having with their products, and tell them it's their hardware, and not his defective products. Very condescending, inexperienced, not knowledgeable about this products, and hovers around his employees trying to appear dominant and competent to compensate. After observing him, I feel sorry for the employees here, as he's likely much worse to them if he's this disrespectful to customers.
