As someone who works in the pet industry it's really disappointing to see stuff like this. A leopard gecko and crested gecko without a single drop of water, multiple dirty water dishes and a canary with nails so long it can't perch correctly(this can lead to permanent deformities). The other birds all had long nails as well. I hope management sees this and speaks to staff as this is unacceptable.

Not a great experience. When we called to make the appointment We explained that we had a husky and he was shedding really bad. We went with the furmerator package and the gentleman on the phone said that we could expect to have our dog there for 3 to 4 hours which we booked around my husband's mri appointment. When my husband dropped our dog off in the morning. The lady said he's be ready in an hour but we were on our way to the m r I appointment. We explained that the guy on the phone said 3-4 hours and we wouldn't be back to pick him up until noon. The store called twice in the three hours we were gone to pick the dog up. When we got there at 1230 the woman who had groomed Our dog explained that our dog didn't really like the vacuum or the air hose so she just shampooed him and brushed him. When he came out he was noticeably stressed and if it's at all possible he seemed like he had more hair on him than when we dropped him off. We tried to talk to her about it and she said there was nothing she could do because he didn't like the air. We brought him home and brushed him, see picture attached. In my opinion they didn't do anything. I could have taken him to bosley's and washed him myself and saved myself sixty dollars. super disappointed in the level of service we got.

What is going on in the fish department here??? Every single tank in the store has more dead than live fish. The Oscar tank has a completely skeletal fish in it and that doesn’t just happen over night. Based on other pics from reviews, that dead fish was left for DAYS. Clearly they know there’s an issue with their fish but an employee came over and asked if I needed any help getting a fish for myself. I think the fish needed more help than I did. The amount of neglect I’ve seen at multiple pet smart locations in the last year is incredibly disgusting. These animals are nothing more than lost profits for this corporation.

The best PetSmart ever. My puppy and I love going there everyone is so friendly, specially Luca! he even remembers my dogs name and I think Orange(my dog) also recognizes him. All the staffs are very helpful if you have questions about anything. Today I got this shirt for my puppy and I wanted to thank them for helping me find the right size and treating my fur baby like their own!

I buy most of our dogs food from this branch. I bought a Cesar food two months ago and it was bad and expired. I came to the store and selected 10 packages with same brand and gave them to the cashier and showed her the expiry date. She apologized and left the food in counter and said we need to remove them. Today is 22nd June 2023 and the food is still in their shelf. I gave it again to another cashier. I hope they didn’t sell the rest to others.

I drove out specifically for aquarium plants and I arrived to the fish section with no one working there. No problem, I waited. After about 5 minutes I saw a call bell and pushed it for assistance. A sales Associate (Marty) sees me from across the store and yells something inaudible from the cashier section down to the fish section. I tell him I can’t hear him (keep in mind he’s also wearing a black mask). He walks about 6ft and yells out again. I tell him I really can’t hear him. He walks all the way down frustrated and says “now that I’ve walked all the way down here… no one is available to help right now. I’m at the front by myself, which is why I didn’t want to walk all the way down here, but it’s ok” I said “it is ok. How are you going to be frustrated with a customer for walking down here?” He tells me the other sales associate is on a call and will come to help me in a few minutes. I continued to wait and no one came. I stood at the front of the store, before finally just leaving. Mind you when I walked in I wasn’t even greeted by him and he had zero customers at that time.

ordered a product online and and then went around the store, i waited about 10 min to be helped whilst the staff at the front just talked as i was staring at them with no acknowledgement until i walked up myself .The first paragraph is from months ago, this is recent as i cant figure out how to post another review on here. Yesterday I was here again to get fish as the coquitlam store didnt have what I was lookig for (African Cichlids). The girl working in the fish area was not trained for the pets and had no idea about fish, tank size species nothing I have a great deal of knowledge on fish as I have been a hobbyist for years as well as breeding experience so i was helping their clients with info !!!! . She was very very nice and this review is not to put her down as she was very friendly and tried her hardest and im thankfukl for her help. However this is to tell the store manager to train your staff better and be aware of this issue as these are LIVE animals we are talking about here!

My family went in to buy fish and the staff was very friendly to educate us on which types of fish will best suit our situation. We ended up buying 2 beta fish and they're beautiful.
