People there were nice and helpful. They only rent gas cylinders which was a little disappointing but still cheaper than praxair for gas and equipment.

Worst customer service ever!!!

If you’re looking for a company to gouge you on cylinder rental pricing, look no further!Messer will rent you a bottle on a monthly basis, but if you keep it more than six months without exchanging it - they charge you another fee on top of the rental. It can become very expensive, very quickly.

Everyone I have dealt with has been fantastic and friendly. Would recommend doing business with Messer.

Absolutely terrible experience. They hit me with a $900 bill for a bottle of gas I had, to which they didn't call about or give me any sort of an invoice for.

They have one individual that works the front desk who has terrible customer service. I regret purchasing my welder and accessories from them. I went in to pick up a couple TIG gas nozzles but I didn’t know the type of torch. After searching for about 5 minutes I walk to the front desk and ask for help finding this nozzle. I was the only person in the store and he didn’t offer to help at anytime. The guy says in a condescending tone “no I can’t help you if you don’t know the torch model”. I said I just bought the welder from you last month it’s a Lincoln TIG 200 and I’ve got a picture of the torch right here on my phone, could you look it up? He says “nope I can’t help you, you gotta know the torch model”. This guy is either extremely lazy or completely unknowledgeable about the products he sells. Probably both. I went across the street to Praxair and thanks to the helpful and knowledgeable staff I had my nozzle within a minute of walking in the store. The employee at Praxair knew exactly what torch came with my welder and walked me right to the parts I needed. That is how it is done Messer.

Great staff at the Saskatoon branch, nothing but great dealings with them. Some times the transit times are a little longer but mostly out of there control.

Terrible customer service, you might as well help yourself. Do yourself a favour and find another place to go.

I have had nothing but good dealing with them. Coming from the perspective of a shop owner, they treat their account customers very well and have always been helpful. In-store or by phone has always been positive. Pricing and selection is always top notch. Never a complaint about quality either.
