Days Inn by Wyndham Orillia

The front desk manager named Ellen was unfriendly and rude. The price of the room was not 78.00$ as advertised but 137.00$ and she didn't like the fact that we were paying cash for the room. Also was not given a receipt said it would be emailed still haven't received it. She also asked for a 200.00$ deposit which she gave us no explanation whatsoever ever. Won't be going back there again the rest of the staff went out of their way to help us with any concerns. We were planning on staying there a couple times a month but not after our experience we had.

I'm not one to usually leave reviews however I also believe you should get what you pay for!At the cost of almost $300 per night I definitely expect more.There was A smell in the room, And the TV did not work, The Internet was spotty and slow.If you are attending an event At the casino you are better off just to stay there and not invest your money at the Days Inn

We have always stayed at this hotel and loved it until April 29. 2023.we stayed at this hotel 4 times in 2022The rooms were fine except for the new tvs they put in the rooms, they were 24 inch models I'm sure. I Maybe 32 inches at best. I am visually impaired and for the first time I could not see the picture on itStaff told us they were new.The big change was the breakfast. They used to give you eggs. Sausage. Porridge. Boiled eggs with various cereals and breads. No hot foods this t time. Only toast and bagels. Only corn flakes and specia k. Not the usual activia yogurt but had cheap runny stuff. Toaster didn't toast. When I said something to staff I was told that is the way it will be now.For the first time we were meeting my brother and his wife there and we had praised the place upImagine my suprise to see the difference. For $248.00 per night it was terrible.They also charge $200 deposit.Time for a new motel.

A park worth conserving from the intimidating influences of the political parties and corporations. It’s located right in the city’s urban sprawl of nature and home to so many animals that will soon be turned into building infrastructures and transportation they say. Anyways, this place is so beautiful and a walk through will definitely improve your senses of relaxation and love for the environment… come experience them.

Very clean, bed was very comfortable, had the king suite with jacuzzi, lots of space. Breakfast was great with a variety.

I have never left a review before but I feel I need to let people know who might be spending there hard earned money to stay here.So, right from check in we were told the pool was out of service, no email letting us know ahead of time. But that wasn’t too big of a deal.It just went downhill from there though. The bed seemed old and worn down and was very uncomfortable. It creaked loudly when you rolled over and it was slanted so our heads were lower than our body. It felt like a pullout couch. There were cobwebs on the ceiling, and lamps. The bathroom sink did not drain properly and would fill up with water leaving gross soap residue. The air conditioning only had low fan option and it was 28 degrees out. We were facing the sun side too.Then, on top of it all you can hear everything! We woke up to the sound of vacuuming at 9:00 above us the first night. And vacuuming across the hall the next morning. I am not a light sleeper at all so this was crazy to me how loud it was. It’s not the cleaning staff’s fault but it is just the way the building is made. You can hear everything. We also had a joining room and we could even hear the people laughing and talking in the room until 2:00 in the morning. It sounded as if they were in our room. They were not even being that loud but you could hear them clear as day. It was uncomfortable. So I didn't complain because it’s not their fault. The hotel is just so poorly structured and not at all sound proofed.Anyways, maybe we had bad room I don't know, but I will never recommend this hotel to anyone or stay there ever again. We were going to Casino Rama and we should have just stayed there. It was terrible and a big waste of money :(

We book at this hotel often when travelling for business. Great place to stay across from the casino. Customer service is great, shout out to Ellen who is super efficient and always gets back to me immediately when I reach out to book rooms. Thanks Ellen for your wonderful customer service!

This is one of the worst Days inn. We had very loud neighbour's all night and Front Desk was mad that we complained but did take care of it .The hotel and rooms smell like an ashtray and the begals for continental breakfast were stale not worth the price they charge (first and last time) .

The breakfast was better than the others that I have had. Not much interaction with the staff other than when a booking error occurred. They were not as accommodating with that as I felt they should be. Was a clean facility. Room was in ok but not perfect shape.
