Strøm Nordic Spa

This spa is an urban oasis. A shining peaceful escape at the heart of Sherbrooke. We had massages as well as mani pedis and also booked the thermal experience. We spent the day between appointment alternating between the hot and cold pools, the wet eucalyptus sauna, the dry sauna, the nap room(complete with a very sweet cat to cuddle with-all spas should have cats!) , the relaxing fires, and the swings. We also got to sit in our robes overlooking the rising steam and the river below for an amazing Nordic inspired meal. The potato with salmon was our favorite. We ended up being there for almost 9 hours in total and left feeling refreshed and beyond relaxed. We loved it so much we came back a second time! That all said- trying to book massages or services over the phone initially was a struggle. We could not get through to anyone and people wouldn’t get back. Finally got through to someone on a social media account. We now book ahead for our next visit and services while at the spa and have had no issues that way. The staff on the phone once we got through on the phone and online/on social media were super kind and helpful as were all the staff at the location(from front desk, massage therapists, nail techs, fire maintainer guy, towel getters, restaurant staff etc). If you are local- stop by for making your first appointment and if not- good luck or just skip getting treatments and just do the thermal experience which you can book online without having to talk to anyone to anyone on the phone. Truly an amazing experience once there and in the cold of winter it will warm your soul as much as your body.

Loved it, Awesome! Not ideal during COVID, bad exposure risk with people closely enclosed and aerosolized respiratory particles. Can’t be certain but pretty sure I got COVID there. Would go again, but with awareness of risk

Very relaxing! Food was really good, and everyone was really nice.The site is almost completely silent (there's only one place where you can whisper). Anyone who doesn't respect the rules can be asked to leave after 3 warnings.One thing I didn't like is that we can't bring our own lunch, and the food is a bit expensive. I also wish the entrance fees incorporated in the massage price, but I guess I understand why it isn't.

Beautiful little spa right in the middle of Sherbrooke. The staff are quite friendly. The facilities are very clean and quiet. You can show up to use the pools and baths without a reservation, but I recommend you get one notheless as it can get busy at times. Will be going back for sure.

The spa is nice. Only downside; no employees or employee circulating to keep it quiet. People having full conversations as if they were seated in a coffee shop instead of a spa.Spa Finlandais has a system where an employee roams the grounds with a sign asking to maintain silence. Possibly something to consider.

Very nice outdoor spa, clean and relaxing right next to a pond. Had a great and relaxing time with my boyfriend.

This was my first time visiting STROM. The facilities are lovely and very well done. There were many different pools and options for relaxation. Being beside the river at night was a beautiful view. My only disappointment was the staff- the reception was a bit chaotic. I felt very much like a number. The locker I was assigned had no lock and I had to go back. Outside one of the relaxation rooms a staff member had a prolonged full volume conversation with someone in a quiet area. Eventually I moved rather than have to continue to listen. I would visit again with the hope for a different experience.

It was my first spa experience and boy was it worth it. I got a warm oil massage and also did the thermal experience. Everyone was so, so kind and helpful and they were all bilingual. I left feeling so calm and relaxed. Worth every penny. I'm already ready to go back!

What an experience! It all started with a massage that was perfect! Then dinner that was fabulous and finally hours enjoying the Nordic Spa experience! Throughly enjoyed spending the evening at the environment created by Strøm!

Right next to the Magog River, you can watch the sunset on a hammock after soaking in some hot waters to heal your muscles. I recommend going into the sauna then immediately stepping into the cold shower right outside of it to stimulate blood flow. 5 stars. This Strøm Spa is a must visit.
