Nurtured Birth Sudbury

Margaret is a calm and knowledge presence from the first couple weeks of pregnancy to the baby years she has been a great support and help to me. She helped me get through a good amount of my labour at home and having someone as encouraging as her on my team really helped me. I am certain that she will be there again cheering me on for the next babies, reminding me to embrace and enjoy all the stages of parenthood (including the hard parts).

Margaret was everything we could have hoped for in a doula. Her support and knowledge was what got us through a very long early labour, and an unmedicated VBAC. She was professional, warm, and caring. She was able to anticipate needs before they even appeared, and her calm demeanour helped us to stay calm too.

It is hard to accurately put into words how amazing my experience with Margaret from Nurtured Birth truly was. She was always there for me, whether it was during pregnancy, the actual birth or postpartum. The support she provided was invaluable.Not only was she there for me, but she was there for my husband 100%. During the birth she helped to guide him in supporting me in the best possible way. I love that when I look back on my birth I have so many memories of being supported by my husband (knowing that he was guided by Margaret to help make me as comfortable as possible).Not only was she knowledgable, professional and so helpful, but her presence was so calming. From the second she walked in the door at the birth I felt so comfortable and so safe and confident. She helped to make my birth experience amazing.I cannot recommend Margaret enough, and will forever be grateful for the huge impact she had on my family during pregnancy, birth and my 4th trimester. She is such an amazing Doula and having her at our birth was one of the best decisions we ever made

If anyone is meant to be a doula it is Margaret! Her passion for birth and supporting women and families through the journey of pregnancy, labour and postpartum is obvious when you meet her. The care and support that she provides goes above and beyond what you could ever expect. I knew that I wanted a doula for this pregnancy but did not realize that I would end up with a dear friend too! Thank you Margaret for the endless encouragement you provided me, for all of the reassuring words you knew to say at exactly the right times throughout my journey and the confidence you had in me!
