ALIGO Rent a Car - YVR (Off Terminal) Shuttle Service

Beware. Stay away from this car rental.When you booked online. It said car pick up is inside the airport. The moment we landed and called them where the car was, They told us to take a taxi there and they will pay $20 for the taxi... OK, not even a shuttle service like they said, or they do not have someone to pick us up. That's fine. We get to the place which is like 15 min away from the airport. Waited in the mall there for 2 hours with a 2 years old with all the heavy luggage just to wait for our car to arrive. After our trip. We found out they tried to charge our credit card $2000 two months later for rims damage without any head up or consent from us. It was just scratched up slightly and called around for estimated to repair from their pictures and was quoted a maximum of $400 to repair everything with labor included. I called their customer service because I agreed to pay for the damages, but the quoted price was unreasonable. I don't even know how a slightly scratched rims cost $2000 to repair. The lady in charge of our claim is Naziya Brider, who has no patience with customer service questions and was very rude. She just wanted to hang up the phone.So if you guys want to call or email afterward after the fact for customer service issues, expect them to laugh at you. Will not help you out for a solution together. They will treat you with little patience and just show them the money if you want them to answer more questions. I honestly thought it was operated as a strip club at one point.

I'm surprised you want me to give details but ok, I will post the pictures of the vehicle later. Its an embarrassing vehicle to drive because the car is heavily damaged to the point where the lady that showed me the car was shocked at the damages. The driver side tail light was bashed, the passenger side bumper was dented, the car has a faint smell of cigarettes(luckily my girlfriend isn't here because she is allergic) and the transmission slips. I really don't know what I'm paying to be honest and I feel I should of just got a Uber than pay all that money to be uncomfortable while driving. I rarely ever give 1 star ratings but I was really disappointed

The worst possible service ever total scam. These guys just make up things to charge you for. The website showed that i would be charged 224 for 5 days and they charged 250 for 3 on top of that have to take an uber there. Then the car was dirty and smelled of smoking.

The whole rental process was a great experience to me. Fast and efficient pick up, clear explanation by staff, who was nice and helpful. The after office hour car return procedure is convenient. I have left some important valuables in car upon returning the car. The staff was very helpful and returned the stuffs to me in due course. Will definitely rent the car there in future. Highly ecommend.

This company charged my card twice and tried to charge me for a damage that was already on the car. They are scammers avoid at all cost.

Charged me extra 150 bucks before I even got the car. After they claim I put a scratch in the door (I have video showing no scratch before I got car.) I also purchased insurance to protect against this very thing and this is included in the coverage as per contract I signed.

I could give them 0 star if I could. This is a joke! They are scammers. We paid over $1,000 for Tesla car plus insurance and we had to pay extra $50 for taxi to pickup and return the rental car. The confirmation email showed that this place is inside the airport but it isn’t. And after we got home, they emailed us and said the rims are damaged and want us to pay over $1,000 for the repair. Then 2 months later, they emailed us again wanted us to pay $1,900. They added admin fee $250, downtime $150... I checked with other repair shop, they quoted $100 per rim. And they also tried to charge my credit 3 times even before they sent us the estimate quote. We called and they didn’t want to help. The girl is disrespectful and arrogant. Manager is so rude. They just want your money. STAY AWAY!!!!!

It was a very good experience.I traveled to Vancouver with my family,but our plane was delay and knowing they were closing, we landed at 4.40pm. Surprisingly, even though we were late, there was still a shuttle bus to pick us up.And we've rented a brand new 2023 8 seats car. Although they were already off duty by the time we arrived，However, the driver who drove the car and the front desk staff were still very welcoming. We will choose this company next time.

Rented a car from them they charged me an extra 100 dollars. They had so many hidden fees the person wasn't there then he strolls out and says that there is damage there was no damage. This company is a total scam stay away from them
