Chris was our main instructor (Open Water) and was assisted by Yuli, Rob, Meg, and Lucas - they were all fantastic! Talk about patience… teaching multiple students with nothing but hand signals (while simultaneously being responsible for their safety in an inherently unsafe environment) is no joke! I was very impressed by the whole staff at Frank Whites. Very professional operation. The instructors did a great job of balancing the serious nature of the course with the inherent fun factor of the experience. You could really feel how stoked everyone was on diving!! I definitely absorbed their energy… looking forward to getting back out there already!

I just completed my open water and dry suit certification with Frank Whites and I cannot emphasize enough how AMAZING the experience was.I had Chris as my main instructor and other help from Yuli, Rob, Lucas and Erik. Chris was such a great instructor, I am not sure if I would have pushed through my fear of the mask flooding skill without his support! They entire team was very welcoming and truly just wanted to see us all succeed! Chris not only helped teach the skills thoroughly and understood when we needed a little more guidance, but he also made the experience super fun with pointing out any creature he could and even bringing out the underwater camera for our last dive. The entire team at the shop was very personable and made the experience very comfortable!Thank you Frank Whites for helping me complete my next step in my Marine Biology journey! I hope to continue seeing amazing things with my next dives! :)

My husband and I both finished our open water diver and dry suit diver certifications with Frank Whites this weekend. Chris was our main instructor with the assistance of other amazing humans from Frank Whites. All of the staff we've met have been so friendly and welcoming.Not gonna lie, it was a tough course and there were several times we wanted to throw in the towel but the instructors were patient and kept encouraging us that it WILL get easier, and guess what? IT DID!!! As soon as we found our groove after a few dives everything got easier, even getting dressed! It turned out to be everything I wanted it to be and I can't wait to get some more dives under my belt! You'll be seeing my face on drop in Saturdays for sure!

It’s been a decade since my last dive in Great Barrier Reef and a latent dream to get back in the water and paint what I see!I’m over the moon that I happened to meet diving instructor Chris Mullen on his day out at Spiral Cafe, West Vic. Chris was wearing his Frank Whites Dive Store t-shirt. So I approached him and he got me to sign up for the Open Water Diving this July 21st 2023. Stopping by at the shop both Chris and Ty are friendly, fun and truly supportive - really happy to meet you both!

Last weekend I completed my Open Water Certification and can’t say enough about my Instructor Yuli! Aside from her amazing communication skills, knowledge, patience and persistence with her teaching, she is also a wonderful young lady! It was quite clear that Yuli loves her job and it made my diving experience amazing! Thank you!

After taking my PADI open water course through Frank Whites Dive Shop, I couldn't have better things to say! The course was well oriented, with rental gear provided and catered to each student properly. The staff throughout the course were encouraging, supportive and approachable, making the skills and content feel like a breeze! Shoutout to Chris, Eric, Rob, Yuli and Amanda for juggling lots of switch ups in our course, and for being such amazing instructors! You all rock and did such a wonderful job.

I had Yuli as my instructor for my open water and dry suit certifications. Yuli was an excellent instructor, she was clear in her communications, she made us feel very safe in the water and she was very knowledgeable and approachable. I strongly recommend Frank White’s for dive courses as all of the staff are truly dedicated to making sure dive experiences are safe and fun!

We had a wonderful experience with all the staff at Frank Whites, but the most amazing person hands down was our dive instructor Chris, who clearly loves diving and was incredibly patient and kind with us all. Our son really struggled to complete his open water course, but thanks to Chris and his skill and patience, he completed the course!!! We can't wait to come back for more diving and are so thankful to the team at Frank Whites.

A tremendous thanks to Yuli who was the guide for me and my 14 year old daughter today atOgden point. We aren't dry suit certified yet, so she made sure we were as warm as we could bein wet suits, including loaning us some of her gear that would fit us better. The entry and exitwasn't easy, but she went above and beyond to help my daughter manage it. In the water, shemade sure we were comfortable and safe. It was beautiful down there and Yuli pointed out allsorts of underwater life including a hidden giant Pacific octopus. An amazing experience all around. - Courtney Schumacher
