Hidden gem in Waterford. I've passed this place many times for many years, today was my first time eating here and it did not disappoint. The chips and guacamole were good but the chip did not taste homemade (the guacamole on the other hand was delish). My son and I both went with the taco dinner(Mexican Style) and selected steak as our protein. The meat was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The dish also came with rice and bean with were both acceptable to taste. I will definitely visit this place again because the price reasonable for good authentic Mexican food!

So good. This was our first time eating here. We did carry out. The food was AMAZING. The flour tacos were filled with meat and the fajita burrito was out of this world. Will eat here again and again! You should definitely eat here.

I love chilaquiles and they make good ones! You can get a healthier meal here too, like tacos Mexican, ceviche and custom fajitas. The molido carne enchiladas are delish! Their desserts are amazing, churros, flan, rum cake! Yum.

A diamond in the rough. The dining room was pretty messy with lots of crumbs and bits of food on the floor and seats, and no clean tables, and the waitress was friendly, but very slow bringing our beverages (and she brought me the wrong flavor of Jarritos), and with taking our orders. BUT...the food was EXCELLENT! I haven't had anything this close to authentic Mexican food since I moved to Michigan from Southern California 20+ years ago. Delicious! If it weren't for the condition of the dining room, and the service, I would have given a 5-star rating. So with that in mind, I might get take-out next time, but I definitely will be back!

If you reside anywhere close to San Jose: Taqueria, and like Mexican, I am sure you have already enjoyed their food.The rest of you, make the drive. Not fine dining mind you, but you want the authentic Mexican food experience, fast, made with care, reasonable prices, and you like supporting local family owned businesses - get going. You'll thank me.They even serve American Style" Tacos as well as "Mexican Style" Tacos. Yep

I had passed this place a few times in the past and found myself in the area so I called and was greeted in Spanish! Authentic, check. And they were open for dine in, yes!When I get there I was floored by the decor. If it weren't for COVID-19 I would definitely set up a dinner date party with friends here. Aside from the bright and cheerful setting, it was good to see the place following social distance guidelines.So let me tell you how pleasantly surprised I was that they have the fun meats" available that I like to eat. I usually go to SW Detroit

I’m not much of a review person but this one absolutely deserved it.Me and my husband went to San Jose with my mother and father for a Mother’s Day dinner together. Our waiter took our drink order, and food order, and once the drinks were dropped off we were not checked on once and had to flag down 3 different wait staff to get some chips and salsa for the table and refills on some water. This was after 35-40 minutes.A different waiter finally brought out our food, which had been sitting under a heat lamp- the bottom was cold and the top was hot- and after another 10 minutes our original waiter came to check and see if everything was okay, but did not offer to get any drink refills or anything.The food was 1/10. By far the worst food I’ve ever had. The only thing that gave it flavor was the enchilada sauce. My dads steak was like shoe leather, my husbands quesadillas were soggy and bland, and my moms veggie tacos were bland as well. My mom and dad frequent here quite a bit but it was mine and my husbands first time. I truly hope they get better, but I will not be dining here again. Over all horrible service.
