Beautifully and well maintained trail. Easy to navigate and gorgeous view at the top. You will climb up about 300 steps but You feel the accomplishment at the end.

Fogo Head Hiking Trail
Such a great hike! We started on the side closest to the Lion’s Club and went the clockwise route as suggested in a few places. I found the trail to be moderately difficult, but not overly challenging. There were some steep inclines, but the footing was all very easy and the view from the top is incredible! We even saw an iceberg off in the distance! My husband had a minor knee fracture 8 weeks ago and made it up and down no problem with some hiking poles at a slower pace. The stairs coming down were great and we enjoyed the walk back through town to complete the loop.

Short scenic lots of steps(over 300) to be rewarded with gorgeous vistas. Cute gift shop called Lookout at the bottom where you park!

In good condition. Lots of steps but the view is worth it. Try to plan for a non- gale force wind day … it gets very windy at the top.

Fogo Head Hiking Trail
The stairs is half of the intriguing value to this hike. The other half is the spectacular views! Hiking in Newfoundland is pure joy!
