Yammy Sushi Restaurant
This place is the real deal. We were sceptical about a Japanese joint on the ALCAN but this was better than a lot of well reviewed Japanese restaurants we’ve eaten at in the lower 48th. Probably the only gripe is that the portion sizes could be a bit larger for the price but hey… it is Fort Nelson!

Great service. Tasty and delicious broths from ramens and noodle soup. Fried oysters are surprisingly fresh.

Had a great experience here. We had the Vietnamese Noodle Soup and the Yammy special roll I believe. Very tasty and the deco was top notch. Was surprised to find that kind of quality this far north. We def will be stopping by next time.

Absolute rave to Yammy Sushi Restaurant - Fort Nelson for the amazing dinner experience we had this evening. I am not one to review things publicly really ever, even when I really enjoyed something but I was compelled to do this after such delicious food and friendly service. I really hope things work out for them and they see great success as it is awesome to have them in this town. I feel silly for not getting the staff's name but the young chef mentioned coming here from the mainland to help his mom with the operation and he did a phenomenal job. Thank you to the server as well. Go order yourself a spider roll or 2 or 3 or 4 and you will not be disappointed. Just look at the presentation! Thank you!

This food is amazing! The salad dressing for the house salad was so good I had to order one to go for the road! And while we were enjoying the amazing sushi rolls they brought a complimentary KAN POONG GI a fried chicken in a sweet and spicy sauce that was so tasty! Cant remember the last time ANY restaurant brought out a free dish just to share it! And they brought one to all three tables dining in :) Just really such a friendly atmosphere and wonderful staff and food! Especially Dan and Young!!! Highly recommend this place to everyone!
