Stayed at the Sage Inn while in the area and decided to try The Home Restaurant. Good diner food (hot Turkey sandwich with a Caesar salad and meatloaf with mashed potatoes). Our waiter and the hostess w were friendly and the food came to our table in a timely manor.

Good home-cooked style food. Amazing pies. We drive from Kamloops to enjoy dinner here sometimes because it's so good.

Facility clean with many seats - booths and tables with outdoor seats. Restaurant adjacent to a motel. Regional chain of four situated along highway 5. Wifi very very good. Staff very friendly and cordial. Our meals were very good. Also many different pies. Total of three bathrooms clean, well lit - 1 fully HC accessible. First time at this chain will definitely return if in the area. It's very rare that I give out 5 stars but was very impressed with this restaurant. Menu photos as of June 2023.

The food was good. The desserts not so much. The one I had clearly had been out of the fridge for a long time. The whipped cream was rock solid.

What can you say when the food is always great and I’ve been coming over a number of years. The homemade pies are great and yummy. Sydney our server was prompt and friendly and delivered our meals on time and made sure we were looked after. The food here has always been top notch and that’s why I keep coming back to most of the locations

The food was definitely better than the last time I remember, which was a number of years ago. Not greasy at all. The eggs bene was enjoyable. Nice to see that their menu is shorter and more manageable for me to choose from. The few options they had were all good options and I could easily have ordered anyone of them would have been happy with the choice. The best part was the service. It was certainly nice to see that old school charm that is demonstrated by a smiling server swinging by and ensuring your coffee was always topped up. I didn't need my coffee topped up, but the gesture is extremely appreciated. You don't see that kinda service too often post COVID. I'd definitely swing by a home restaurant more often now. I wouldn't avoid it as much as I have in the past.

Fantastic service! While the restaurant was bustling with activity our server Brooklyn managed to bring our drinks and food within a timely manner, and the food was absolutely fantastic.. my compliments to the chef and their crew, will definitely be back

We popped in for breaky; Home has a reputation for excellence for their breakfasts!I did request my English muffin double toasted and my egg hard.Nothing out of the ordinary.I got neither, and when I informed the waitress, she made a face at me! I am just too old for that stuff LOL and so was she.The plate was taken back and returned with a toasted muffin. But now, the home fries are cold and so is my soft boiled egg.Sorry Home Restaurant, you just didn't make the cut this time.
