Burkeville Neighbourhood Park
I was hesitant to post this because I don't want a lot of people visiting this place since that's one of the things that makes this little park great, not a lot of people and peaceful. The area is well kept and the in well condition.Perfect to have picnics and play with toddlers.

Delightful place to stop when you've got a lot of time to wait for someone at the airport. There's swings, zip line, black berries, outhouse and some play sets for little kids.

This is a fantastic children's park located in the Burkville community. They have two sets of swings (infant and regular), a large playground with pebble bottom. A tire swing with woodchip bottom, a mini zip line, a porta potty as an outhouse, multiple benches and picnic tables. Across a small street they have a basketball court, tennis court, hockey area and more grass zones. There is a public fountain, bulletin board and more. The community clearly cared about their park. The trees are beautiful and old providing great shade. Parking is three hours and they aren't far from two bus lines.

Area of the park currently under construction, as of August 2021. Has playground, water park, basketball court, tennis court. Has trash bins, mobile toilets, water fountain, benches, and picnic tables. Surrounded by trees, with shaded basketball court and tennis court during morning hours. Free 2-hr street parking.

This park is awesome. It is a bit away from everything else but it's perfect. Used to bring the kids here and they loved the playground structures small splash fountain and mini zip-line. Lots of space for picnics and frisbee or tossing the ball. We've brought our dog here but was not as enjoyable as dogs need to stay on leash. It is right accross tennis courts and close to the airport park as well so, great location. If the kids get bored, one can walk to the airport park and watch the planes rake off or land. Burkeville is an often overlooked jewel in Richmond. It is near the airport and the Arthur Lange bridge.

Surrounding by neighborhood houses. It's a nice place to bring children to play around or just having a picnic under the tree.

Good, sizeable playground for lots of activities for different age groups. Lots of nice grassy space with picnic tables. Nice for plane watching too!

The playground had lots to do, but there was no shade coverage. Fortunately the infant swings were under trees and there's a little water feature to cool off at. Lots of green space for running around and plenty of picnic tables.
