Ordered a spicy salmon roll- the fish inside was all fat, skin and scraps. I don’t know how this couldn’t be on purpose and don’t know why they would serve this to anyone

If you want authentic Korean food flavors, come to Cupbop Plus. This place is a gem, and you guys must try it here! We've been here so many times and each and every visit was amazing. Our favorites would be the Japchae, L.A. Galbi Plate, and the Bulgogi Plate. Their Cupbop Bowls are great as well--all of them!! Their Korean Fried Chicken are the best we've had. On top of their great food is friendly and amazing service from their crew. We love it here!! Highly recommended!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

very disappointing. Ordered online for take out (scheduled for 45 minutes after placing order) I showed up early but didn’t expect to receive the order before their promised time but it ended up being an extra 20 minute wait after the scheduled time.65 minute to make 2 rolls (Salmon Avocado, BBQ Eel Avocado) and Bulgogi Smart Fries.The end pieces of the rolls barely had any fish in them (as seen in the picture).The bulgogi fries were ground beef, with hints of bulgogi flavours.Was hoping the wait was worth it but I was let down.The restaurant was severely understaffed (3 people in total). Many guests were waiting a long time to get their food and many tables were left with dirty dishes and food left by diners for over 40 minutes while I was there.I wish they would’ve stopped their online orders so they weren’t so backed up and so I could’ve took my hungry appetite somewhere else. Or at least do something to make up for it (making the food better could’ve been one).

Literally the sweetest message on the delivery baggie. Food is amazing, so fresh that it melts in your mouth and great flavour 100/10 will definitely be going back.

Might be the worst salmon I've ever had. This roll was just filled with off cuts of fat and skin. Pretty disappointed that this is what's being served.

Any low review for this place is coming in expecting some fancy food but this place is lovated right beside campus for a reason. The place has great student food and is cheaper than other korean/japanese places

I really really enjoyed my first take-out from Cupbop Plus and regret waiting so long to have visited. We got two Cupbop bowls: fried chicken and a combo bowl with beef bulgogi and spicy pork. All 3 proteins were really delicious. The bulgogi has a uniquely nice umami and earthy complexity. But the fried chicken REALLY knocks it out of the park. There's a lot going on in these deceptively simple and satisfying little bowls. Things are so individually tasty I really didn't want to shake the bowl up as the menu suggests, hehe.One tiny suggestion -- I hope moving forward maybe they can source a more sustainable take-out bowl.This is an uber-convenient pitstop if you're coming or going from Western, with free parking behind and a rear entrance. The portions and pricing—particularly of the cupbop bowls—are exactly what I'm looking for in an affordable mid-week meal. I'm looking forward to returning and will try to remember to take advantage of them being open on Mondays!

Very fresh and great-tasting Japanese and Korean food! This new location is right on Richmond, just outside the University's main gates and is the perfect place for students. I have now eaten here in-house and picked up take-out multiple times and have always had a great experience as the staff are always happy and very friendly, and the food is ready within a timely manner. I personally recommend the poke bowls and tuna sashimi but from the other items that my friends have ordered you really can't go wrong. The portions are always generous with lots of protein and, at a very fair price. If you are reading this right now, go get Cupbop Plus!
